The Opportunity
The Media Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing the local implementation of media campaigns, ensuring alignment with global brand strategies across various fashion and beauty markets. This role is responsible for managing relationships with local teams, media agencies, and brand partners to maintain consistency in media execution and maximize campaign impact. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of media planning, digital and traditional advertising, and the evolving landscape of fashion and beauty marketing.
What you'll get to do
- Oversee Local Media Implementation: Ensure that local markets execute media campaigns in alignment with brand guidelines, creative direction, and marketing objectives.
- Coordinate with Local Teams & Agencies: Act as the main point of contact between global/regional brand teams and local media agencies, ensuring clear communication and execution.
- Ensure Brand Consistency: Review and approve local media placements, ensuring all messaging, visuals, and content reflect the brand’s identity and aesthetic.
- Monitor Campaign Performance: Gather reports from local teams, analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Manage Media Relationships: Work closely with media agency digital platforms to secure strategic placements and partnerships.
- Support Paid Media Strategy: Ensure paid media plans across social, digital, print, and out-of-home (OOH) align with brand priorities and are executed effectively.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with emerging trends in digital marketing, influencer collaborations, and consumer behaviour within the fashion and beauty industry.
- Budget Oversight: Assist in managing media budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution while maximizing reach and engagement.
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in media coordination, media planning, or brand marketing, preferably in fashion or beauty.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media advertising and traditional media channels.
- Experience working with media agencies and overseeing multi-market campaigns.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyse media performance data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in media analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and other reporting platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for brand storytelling.
- Experience with luxury, premium, or mass-market fashion/beauty brands.
- Familiarity with emerging platforms (TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.) and their advertising formats.
- Understanding of influencer partnerships and paid collaborations in the fashion and beauty space.
- Knowledge of SEO, paid search (Google Ads), and programmatic advertising.
