The Opportunity

The role will organize the visibility of the supply flow, generate updates and align ANZ forecasts to the Supply issued by Global Team’s Allocations & Supply schedules to replenish the ANZ markets.
This role will prioritize the coordination of needed actions including escalations, to tie up the Supply Planning with future Demands and Forecasts by Channel. 
The tasks will be an extension of the Demand Planner’s workload & process with the Marketing and Commercial teams with clear objectives of securing sufficient supply of products to support the business needs, at best cost possible, as well as looking after the slow-moving stock reduction for cash improvement. 
 

What you'll get to do

  • Gather and collate data from various sources to generate Supply analysis per sales channels by reviewing sales history, current forecasts, and future market dynamics.
  • Maintain updates on Inbound Shipments from dispatch till delivery & periodic reporting to expose underlying issues.
  • Conduct the review of fortnightly Portfolio of Supply (DRP) to determine mode of transportation of each SKU given the launch dates or replenishment requirements. Coordinate the workflow with Global CS and Supply teams.
  • Organize and propose stock coverage target according to Month-to-Date Sales run rate and demand patterns.  
  • Monitor stock projection and coverage, ready to submit to HQ special Air Freight requests
  • Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders local Air Freight approval process in line with ESG objectives.
  • Liaise with multiple parties to reconcile supply and demand plan to mitigate shortfalls as well as inventory excess for new launches, reporting production-related shortages or OoS.
  • Identify/champion process enhancements to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
  • Develop and prepare daily, weekly & monthly forecasting files, for S&OP and KPI reports.
  • Participate in relevant supply chain projects based on experience and learnings from the role.
  • Use the Demand Planning IBP forecasting tool.
  • Serve as a resource to Logistics and Operations partners for all data-related projects.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with Local and Global teams: Local Commercial, Marketing and Finance teams and Global CS and Supply Planning, 
     

We'd love to meet you if you have

Experience: 

  • Possess at least 2+ years of experience in supply planning and knowledge of demand planning in a FMCG company
  • Prior experience with SAP and/or statistical forecasting tool like JDA/IBP will be advantageous
  • Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations
  • Time management/prioritization and follow-up skills

 
Education: Bachelor’s degree above

Skills & Knowledge Required: 

  • Self-starter well organized, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, sound judgment and drive for excellence
  • High level of commitment and initiative with the ability to work independently.
  • Organizational awareness that can proactively manage up where appropriate.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, and Office
  • Preferably have IBP, SAP, APO, JDA knowledge
  • Knowledge of analytics tools like Power BI and SAC is an advantage.
