The Opportunity
This Marketing Director role is pivotal in defining and driving the overall marketing strategy that will deliver the goals of Puig Oceania through a diversified portfolio of brands in prestige fragrance and fashion, through all consumer touchpoints and managing a large budget through all paid, earned and owned channels. The role reports into the General Manager, Puig Oceania and is a member of the Leadership Team of the Puig Oceania based in Sydney, Australia.
The Marketing Director is a highly experienced, passionate, performance-led, and consumer‑obsessed senior marketer with strong expertise in fragrance and cosmetics. The role fosters innovation and drives category and brand disruption. He/she combines an exceptional strategic mindset, extensive digital marketing experience, and a proven track record of building business through brand equity across both widely distributed omnichannel brands and digital‑first brands. This proven leader sets the vision and direction for the function and is a champion of their team, coaching and motivating a talented group of 14.

We'd love to meet you if you have
Experience:
- Approximately 15 years+ of Brand Marketing, Category Management and operational marketing in prestige/luxury/premium/niche Brands within industries in Fragrances / Cosmetics/ Luxury Categories, with demonstrated career progression and leadership
- Experience in a structured omnichannel organisation
- Digital driven marketing expert in media management, digital marketing and communication, marketing strategic planning & consumer insight, brand development and retail consumer events, in the fragrances and cosmetics universes
- Strategic thinking and pragmatic leader with exceptional analytical skills and an ability to generate actionable insight from complex data
- Leadership, managerial experience and ability to interact in a matrix organisation (Market / Brands / Europe HQ)
- Sales or Trade Marketing proven experience is a plus
- International experience is a plus

- Degree holder in Marketing / Business Administration
- MBA in Marketing or Business preferred.
Languages: English
