
Retail Design & VM Manager

The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Retail Design & VM Manager to join our Nordic affiliate based in Stockholm. This is a full-time, permanent position, initially starting with a six-month probation period, with a planned start date on March 1st 2026.
In this role, you will drive and execute Puig’s global retail strategy across the Nordic markets, ensuring a premium and consistent in-store presence for our Niche and Prestige brands. Acting as the key expert for retail design, visual merchandising, and in-store experience, you will work closely with marketing, commercial teams, global brand functions, distributors, and suppliers. Through strong cross-functional collaboration, you will help shape how our brands come to life at the point of sale and support the ongoing elevation of our retail environments across the region.
What you'll get to do
Lead Retail Design & VM Execution
- Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of all retail design and VM initiatives in the region, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy and local business priorities.
- Own the in-store customer experience from a visual and brand consistency perspective across all relevant channels (key retailers, own stores, pop-ups, and activations).
- Act as the regional expert and advisor on retail design and VM - ensuring consistent brand expression and visual storytelling at point of sale
Projects & Process Management
- Lead the planning and execution of new openings, renovations, and temporary activations, including budget and supplier management.
- Manage timelines, approvals, production follow-ups and installation processess across the region.
- Review and approve design concepts and ensure compliance with brand and retailer guidelines.
Trade Plan & Retail Alignment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial, Retailer and Distributor teams to deliver trade plan visibility actions and promotions.
- Partner with Commercial teams to translate retail agreements into actionable and measurable in-store activations.
Visual Merchandising & Planogram Management
- Localize and roll out VM guidelines, assets and planograms for permanent and seasonal campaigns, in line with global brand direction.
- Manage supplier orders (artwork & tools), monitor delivery, and ensure timely implementation in stores.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Global Brand teams to align and execute retail initiatives.
- Partner with commercial teams in retail negotiations and support key stakeholders with expert retail insights.
- Liaise with distributors, suppliers, and retail partners to ensure quality delivery of projects and activations
Monitoring, Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Perform regular store audits and provide feedback to inprove brand presentation and visual consistency.
- Collaborate internally and externally to enhence customer journey and visual storytelling at retail.
- Ensure retailer POS visibility remains up to date and aligned with brand ambitions.
Forecasting & Planning
- Lead CPS reviews and ensure POS materials and tools are forecasted and delivered per campaign needs and distribution plans.

Experience & Education
- 5+ years of retail experience within luxury, fashion, or retail-focused organizations is preferred.
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
