The Opportunity
BYREDO is looking for a Architect to join our team in Stockholm, with a preferred start date as soon as possible. Reporting to the Head of Architecture, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative design projects within a creative and dynamic environment.
What you'll get to do
As an Architect at BYREDO, you will be responsible for designing and visualizing spaces three-dimensionally based on creative briefs. Your work will involve visualizing buildings, interiors, furniture, and installations while also creating technical and production drawings. Beyond executing designs, you will provide insights within your field, contributing ideas and solutions that enhance our projects. You will play an essential role in shaping and developing concepts for standalone stores, shop-in-shops, travel retail setups, offices, furniture, display tools, and other objects.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Architecture and work alongside team members in the Architect Team, as well as with Project Managers in the Store Design Team and Visual Merchandisers in the Visual Merchandising Team. As part of your responsibilities, you must also be open to travel when required. This position reports to the Head of Architecture.
Your main missions include, but are not limited to:
• Develop visualizations based on creative briefs.
• Collaborate with Head of Architecture to create innovative concepts.
• Produce three-dimensional visualizations of physical spaces or smaller objects.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings.
• Create production drawings for execution.
• Prepare presentations and design layouts for key stakeholders.
• Work with the store design team to select fixtures and finishes for various projects.
• Explore new creative ideas to evolve and enhance the existing store design concept.
• Support site verifications and visits to ensure design quality.
