The Opportunity

BYREDO is looking for a Store Manager to lead our point of sale at Åhléns City, Stockholm, with a preferred start date in mid-May. This is a permanent position, starting with a 6-month probationary period, with a full-time work rhythm of 40 hours per week (100%).

As a Store Manager at Byredo, you will be responsible for the overall performance and success of the store, ensuring an exceptional luxury experience for every client. You will lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and customer engagement. Your role will be key in driving sales, maintaining brand standards, and building long-term relationships within the local luxury community.

You will act as a brand ambassador, overseeing all aspects of store operations while creating a unique and engaging in-store experience. Your leadership will ensure that every client leaves with more than just a purchase – a memorable connection to Byredo.


Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere for clients, ensuring personalized and engaging interactions.
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships, leveraging CRM tools and brand storytelling.
  • Overseeing all clienteling initiatives to proactively drive store traffic and client loyalty.
  • Managing store operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and adherence to brand standards. 
  • Taking ownership of in-store events and activations, collaborating with marketing to engage the local community.
  • Monitoring market trends and ensuring the store remains competitive in the luxury landscape.
  • Handling administrative duties, reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Other desired qualifications and soft skills:

  • Proven experience in retail management, with at least five years in a leadership role. (Luxury experience is a plus, but a true passion for the brand and its values is what matters most.)
  • A strong client-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, fostering motivation and development.
  • A strategic approach to sales and business growth, with a results-driven attitude.
  • Strong understanding of clienteling and CRM tools to drive engagement and loyalty.
  • Ability to organize and execute in-store activations and brand events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluent in Swedish & English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Experience within makeup is considered meritorious.
