
Southeast Asia Brand Manager, Jean Paul Gaultier

The Opportunity
We are looking for a commercially driven and operationally strong Brand Manager to lead one of our prestige fragrance brands across Southeast Asia.
This role partners closely with JV markets and distributors to ensure best-in-class execution of global strategies across diverse SEA markets including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam & Philippines. You will act as the bridge between Global Brand Teams and local markets — ensuring brand equity is protected while delivering commercial growth.
What you'll get to do
Brand Strategy & Planning
• Lead regional brand planning and operational deployment across SEA JV/distributor markets.
• Drive alignment between Global brand strategy and local market execution.
• Lead the annual regional brand planning for the assigned brand, including A&P allocation and launch phasing.
• Partner with markets on monthly brand animation plans.
360 Launch & Go-to-Market Strategy
• Lead the regional adaptation and planning of global marketing campaigns, ensuring relevance to Southeast Asian consumers.
• Develop and implement integrated consumer engagement plans across ATL, BTL, digital, social, and influencer touchpoints.
• Partner with regional media and advocacy agencies to ensure executional excellence across the full marketing funnel, from awareness, consideration, purchase, loyalty to advocacy.
• Coordinate with JVs/distributors to ensure launch readiness and on-time execution.
Post-Launch Review
• Conduct structured post-launch evaluation across markets.
• Evaluate A&P effectiveness and consumer engagement metrics and KPIs.
• Monitor campaign performance and consumer conversions, leveraging learnings and insights to optimize ongoing and future campaigns.
Forecasting & Pricing
• Lead regional demand planning process in collaboration with local market partners.
• Consolidate forecasts from JV/distributors and challenge assumptions where necessary.
• Consolidate regional competitive pricing from local market partners and make recommendations for novelty pricing.
Retailer Management
• Partner with Sales on key retailer negotiations.
• Assist in developing retailer sell-in and launch presentations.
• Provide recommendations on which regional retailer trade programs to participate in.
Key Interfaces
• Global Brand team, Sales, Consumer Engagement, Visual Merchandising, Education, JV/Distributors, Key Retailers
We'd love to meet you if you have
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in marketing and brand management, preferably within fragrances, beauty, luxury, or FMCG.
• Strong operational marketing background with proven 360 launch experience.
• Experience managing A&P budgets and forecasting.
• Highly analytical with strong business acumen.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and execution-focused.
• Proactive, hands-on, strong ownership and solutions-oriented.
• Strong attention to details with a strategic, big-picture perspective.
• Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Experience working across Southeast Asia markets and distributors is highly advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
