Reporting directly to the Brand General Manager, the Trade Marketing & Retail Experience Director will play a pivotal role at the crossroads of consumer experience, retail animation and operations, and trade marketing. Working hand in hand with our new markets, especially the UK, and with our domestic emerging market, India, this role acts as a critical bridge between the global brand team and market execution teams. We are looking for a passionate expert in retail and customer experience — someone who will elevate our clienteling strategy across the retail network and ensure the consistent delivery of an outstanding consumer experience at every touchpoint. As part of our collaborative brand team, you will partner with all brand functions, corporate, and market stakeholders to craft a distinctive Kama Ayurveda retail experience, while driving increased productivity per door.

Trade Marketing, Business Development & Growth

Lead and drive global Trade Marketing strategy in close partnership with PUIG affiliates to support business growth across priority markets, with a strong focus on Wholesale performance.

Act as a senior business partner to Markets, distributors and key retail partners, assessing commercial opportunities, defining go-to-market strategies and supporting execution at local level.

Own commercial and business development initiatives with selective beauty distributors, retailers, hotels and spa partners, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and growth objectives.

Develop and steer trade marketing, promotional and growth-driver strategies (excluding media), in collaboration with affiliates, to accelerate sell-in, sell-out and brand desirability.

Work cross-functionally with Global Brand, Finance, Sales and Supply teams to support markets on all business levers, including pricing architecture, assortment strategy, distribution footprint and performance tracking.

Oversee product category strategy and retail performance management, consolidating insights across markets to identify winning categories, productivity levers and investment priorities.

Create and lead category portfolio and retail performance reporting, in collaboration with Finance and Business teams, providing clear visibility to senior management on performance, ROI and growth drivers.

Partner closely with Global Store Design and VM teams on permanent and temporary retail concepts, ensuring commercial relevance, brand consistency and execution excellence.

Consumer & Retail Experience

Define, lead and implement the global Consumer & Retail Experience vision and strategy across all channels, in alignment with brand positioning and commercial objectives.

Drive strategies to win across Wholesale, Retail, E-commerce, Hotels and Spas, in close collaboration with Sales, Education and Spa partners.

Ensure strong productivity and profitability per square meter by optimizing retail experience, category mix, client journey and operational execution.

Define, maintain and elevate global Brand standards for retail environments, client navigation and in-store interactions across all touchpoints.

Translate consumer, retail and experiential trends into strategic insights, innovation opportunities and concrete action plans for markets.

Collaborate with Retail Design teams to create cohesive, distinctive and high-impact branded consumer journeys globally.

Oversee Education and Training strategies, working in tandem with internal teams and external Spa partners to ensure excellence in service, rituals and selling ceremony.
Team management – 2 reports:
- One Education and Training manager (incl. Selling ceremony).
- One Category and retail performance junior manager.

Experience:
- Experience within the Beauty or Luxury industries in a similar role.
- Proven operational marketing knowledge is essential.
- Experience in retail and/or consumer marketing would be a plus.
- Background on UK and/or Indian market would be a plus.
Languages:
- English (must-have); French (nice-to-have).

- Self-starter able to work autonomously, driving momentum on multiple projects and proactive planning ahead.

Specific Knowledge required:
- Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint all essential).
