The Opportunity

As a Sales Analyst at Puig Canada, you will support the sales team by providing comprehensive data analysis and actionable insights to drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and logistics, to analyze sales trends, forecast future demand, and optimize overall performance. You will also be responsible for analyzing investments in both brand-driven and retailer activations and developing a clear return on investment.

What you'll get to do

•    Collect, organize, and analyze sales data to provide actionable insights and reports to internal and external partners
•    Analyze brand-driven and retailer activations, including demo investments and key moments, to determine the return on investment
•    Analyze both sell-in and sell-out moments to provide insights on performance 
•    Analyze and monitor product assortment by retailer for own brands, as well as in comparison to competition with the objective of identifying further growth opportunities.
•    Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to support strategic decision-making and identify new growth opportunities
•    Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports that highlight performance against KPIs, sales trends, and opportunities for growth
•    Collaborate with the sales and demand planning teams to forecast product demand, promotional sets, and inventory requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives 
•    Collaborate with retail teams to create reoccurring sales newsletters that summarize key wins and opportunities
•    Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to manage promo pieces and grow the sales budget, while ensuring alignment with budget objectives across all retail channels
•    Collaborate with account managers to provide insights on customer behavior, preferences, and sales patterns, driving a customer-centric approach
•    Support and forecast launches while analyzing cycles of forecasting and promo planning (in partnership with the marketing team)
•    Align sales strategies with investments, loyalty programs, and promotional objectives to capitalize on sales opportunities
•    Assist the sales team in preparing presentations, proposals, and performance summaries for key accounts and management
•    Manage and optimize CRM systems and sales analytics tools to improve data accuracy and accessibility for the sales team

We'd love to meet you if you have

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or relevant experience preferred 
•    2-3 years of experience in sales analysis, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or consumer goods industries
•    Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas), PowerPoint, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
•    Familiarity with SAP or similar data processing systems 
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
•    Bilingual in English and French (preferred)

Compensation Data

As required by Ontario’s pay transparency act, effective March 2024, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000.00 - $85,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
