
Junior Finance Controller (Fixed-Term Contract, 80-100%)

The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Controller (Temporary - 80 to 100%) to join the EMAD (European, Mediterranean and African Distributors) team. In this role, you will support financial planning, reporting and performance analysis across distributor markets and the Nordics region, covering multiple countries, business models and currencies. Reporting to the EMAD Finance Director, you will work closely with Finance, Commercial, Marketing and Retail stakeholders to provide reliable analysis, support business decisions and contribute to effective financial monitoring. This is a strong opportunity to develop your controlling and FP&A skills in an international, fast-moving environment.
What you'll get to do
- Support the preparation of weekly sales estimates and help analyze key variances versus budget and prior year.
- Contribute to monthly financial reporting, including global P&L, customer and brand P&L, A&P costs, fixed costs and key financial indicators.
- Help ensure the accuracy, completeness and proper documentation of financial records in line with company procedures and local requirements.
- Support invoice coding, distributor recharges, provision tracking and other recurring controlling activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and P&L follow-up, ensuring data is accurate, consistent and submitted on time through company tools.
- Prepare financial analyses for business reviews, highlighting performance drivers, risks, opportunities and potential corrective actions.
- Contribute to improving reporting tools, templates and processes to provide clear and useful financial insights.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and support the team on specific projects when required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Up to 1-3 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or financial analysis ideally in cosmetics, luxury or in consumer goods industry.
Languages: Fluency in English is required. French and/or Spanish would be a plus.
Skills and competencies:
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP/BW is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, well organised and attentive to detail in daily tasks
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams.
