The Opportunity
As the Senior Manager, FP&A, you will be a strategic partner to the business, playing a critical role in driving financial transparency, optimizing performance, and enabling informed decision-making. You will lead planning, forecasting, and financial reporting activities across business units, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations. What you'll get to do
Business Partnership
- Act as a financial advisor to business leaders, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies
- Lead the full financial planning cycle including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range strategic planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets
- Partner cross functionally with Sales, Marketing and Operations to track key performance metrics, door productivity, retailer P&Ls, and ROI on investments
- Collaborate with Global and Local Finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial information and provide support in the US for globally executed functions, particularly in the procure-to-pay process
Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes for the business
- Coordinate cross functional input and develop consolidated financial models and scenario analysis to support the business strategy
- Conduct pre-close month end review meetings to highlight areas of concern
- Execute local statutory and/or administrative requirements, such as miscellaneous expenses, corporate cards, travel expenses
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare monthly business reviews and reports that clearly communicate financial performance, KPIs and strategic initiatives
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process for the responsible business units, covering key areas such as general ledger and subledger accounting, including fixed assets, prepayments, leases, payroll, returns, reserve provisions, COGS, logistics-related costs, accruals, and reclassifications—all in alignment with established month-end deadlines
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of all financial systems and planning tools
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus
- 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, preferably in the beauty, luxury, or consumer goods industry
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Proficiency with SAP, SAP BW, NetSuite, or similar ERP/BI tools; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships and influence across functions
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with evolving priorities
Compensation Data
As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $140,000.00 - $160,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
