The Opportunity

The Product Development Coordinator will be responsible for managing the development of RTW and accessories with an emphasis on Knitwear and cut & sew.

What you'll get to do

  • Strategically oversee all stages of development from design concept through production handoff, ensuring all materials and construction details are aligned with our brand standard.
  • Create and maintain seasonal WIP reports.
  • Monitor seasonal SKU count and alignment with merch plan.
  • Manage and enforce T&A calendar to deliver on all critical milestones.
  • Issue vendor and Raw Material POs.
  • Launch, monitor, and organize knit-downs, protos, and SMS with factories. Maintain clear communication with all vendors at all stages of development.
  • Distribute all necessary samples and raw materials to factories. Track packages and handle shipping delays.
  • Create and manage style master and BOMs on PLM system.
  • Coordinate fittings and take fit notes.
  • Support costing in collaboration with Production team.
  • Receive, review, and approve factory invoices. Accurately track and report seasonal budget.
  • Assist with all tasks related to fittings, show/shoot and market preparation.
  • Support in-house Atelier needs and other development projects as needed.

 

A reasonable estimate of the current hourly rate is $26/hour-$30/hour USD.

We'd love to meet you if you have

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in RTW development and strong knowledge of process
  • Previous knitwear experience is a must.
  • Must have knowledge and technical understanding of garment construction
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Strong ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in fast-paced setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and lifecycle systems.
