The Opportunity

The Finance Coordinator supports local and HQ-based teams in managing company Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and capital expenditure projects. This role also acts as a liaison between local teams and HQ accounting for day-to-day needs. 

What you'll get to do

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Support AR processes: 
    • Manage clearing for all retail accounts and payment forms including but not limited to cash, credit cards, PayPal, deposits. 
    • Manage AR and clearing for external partners such as FarFetch and Global E
    • Assist in managing AR for wholesale accounts including following up with customers, managing chargebacks, posting and reconciling payments
    • Reconciling monthly credit card statements 
  • Locally support AP process: 
    • Liaise with North America AP and local teams to ensure on-time processing of invoices locally
  • Capex: 
    • Manage internal budgets and project management needs
    • Support accounting for capital expenditures
  • Assist local and HQ Finance department (G/L, A/P, A/R and Payroll) in daily operations.    
  • Support yearly audit
  • Validate data coherence between the different systems used by the company.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures.  
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal control requirements from HQ across departments
  • Monitor and control corporate accounting policies.
     

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • 1-3 years relevant experience, fashion/consumer products a plus
  • Minimum BA required
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and managerial skills; able to work as a team, as well as handle projects on his/her own
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of accounting and financial software (knowledge of SAP, GCS, and Y2 a plus)

 

A reasonable estimate of the current hourly rate is $30/hour - $32/hour USD.
