The Opportunity

Drive sales performance and elevate retail excellence across a high-profile NYC & Long Island territory, owning door strategy, client experience, and brand execution. This role blends strategic account management with hands-on field leadership, partnering closely with retail, education, and store teams to unlock growth and deliver a best-in-class luxury skincare experience. You will oversee multi-door distribution across Bluemercury, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, and key specialty partners, with a strong presence across the New York, Connecticut, and Boston markets.

What you'll get to do

Sales & Business Development

  • Own and execute territory strategy to deliver and exceed sales targets
  • Analyze key metrics (sell-through, rank, ATV, CRM insights) to identify opportunities and drive action plans by door
  • Build localized strategies tailored to key Northeast markets
  • Oversee door productivity, ensuring the right mix of staffing, merchandising, and activations to drive performance
  • Partner with retailers to execute high-impact events, animations, and clienteling initiatives
  • Manage budgets and allocate spend strategically to ensure strong ROI and alignment with company guidelines

Education, Coaching & Team Development

  • Deliver elevated, science-led training in partnership with Education to bring Dr. Barbara Sturm’s positioning to life
  • Provide hands-on coaching to Beauty Advisors and skincare specialists to build selling confidence and expertise
  • Identify capability gaps and implement targeted development plans
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing development of in-store talent to strengthen performance and brand presence
  • Motivate teams through strong brand storytelling, accountability, and recognition

Client Experience & Brand Execution

  • Lead high-touch events, masterclasses, and clienteling moments across key luxury markets
  • Maintain best-in-class merchandising and VM standards aligned with brand guidelines
  • Partner with VM/Store Design to ensure counters reflect brand positioning and current campaigns
  • Support store openings and key launches with flawless execution
  • Act as brand guardian in market-balancing sales with long-term brand equity

Relationship Management & Operations

  • Serve as the primary partner to store leadership, corporate stakeholders, and internal cross-functional teams
  • Build strong relationships with top-performing advisors and retail teams
  • Proactively identify and address business needs across doors, from promotional planning to staffing support
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Ops, Education, and VM to drive aligned execution across the territory

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • 5+ years of field sales or account management experience in prestige beauty or luxury
  • Strong clinical skincare knowledge with the ability to translate ingredient-led storytelling into sales
  • Experience managing multi-door, multi-state territories and driving results through events, education, and clienteling
  • Strong business acumen with comfort analyzing sales data and identifying growth opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Passion for luxury, client experience, and retail excellence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel across the Northeast (~60%), including overnights
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work weekends and peak retail periods as needed
  • Comfortable in a field-based, in-store role supporting retail teams

Compensation Data

As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $95,000.00 - $100,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure. In addition to the base salary, PUIG offers a competitive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K, paid holidays, a generous paid time-off policy, hybrid work environment, and career opportunities within a dynamic team.
