Mission:
As a Retail & Education Manager, your mission is to develop and lead the Education Strategy for Travel Retail Americas (TRA) to offer a unique travel retail relevant Customer Experience, partnering with the local and Global Team teams.
What you'll get to do
Define and successfully implement Travel Retail Americas Education Strategy
- Develop in collaboration with Global Travel Retail and Marketing & Retail Director the Travel Retail Americas (TRA) Education Strategy and ensure a successful implementation
- Translate Global Travel Retail strategy into TRA
- Build and deliver in collaboration with Training Managers, Marketing and Commercial team a comprehensive Education plan in line with TRA’s Mission
- Build and closely follow-up Education and Travel and Expenses Budget in line with TRA’s Mission and objectives
- Build & foster relationships with all global and local teams to ensure alignment & perfect executions.
- Be in constant liaison with Commercial and field teams to learn and adapt our needs and communicate these on a regular basis to Global Travel Retail
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead the digitalization of Travel Retail Americas by working on a Retail Digital Tool : REX implementation
- Lead Annual Education Seminar and BR events
- Work closely with the Global Team to implement regular Mystery Shopping visits in top locations, analyze results to identify trends and patterns, and define action plan. Follow up with Sales Team and Global Team.
- Forecast all Supply planning and sales forecasting (CPS) Training & Beauty Representatives (BR) Material
- Successfully deploy training tools developed by Global Travel Retail Deliver Trainings across the Americas region related to product knowledge, soft skills, sales techniques and brand histories and values.
- Perform Live Coaching Sessions with staff on the shop floor or digitally
- Manage the digital education app and ensure high engagement level from field teams.
- Build a high performing and motivated team
- Lead and develop a team of Training Managers with a regional focus
- Ensure every team member understands TRA Mission and works towards it
- Foster cooperation within the team and across teams
- Support and encourage development
- Build an atmosphere of trust, listen actively to the team, create a positive and supportive team dynamic, help structure their work
We'd love to meet you if you have
Experience:
- Previous experience in Retail, Beauty Industry and Travel Retail are a plus.
- 5+ years’ experience in Education/Training.
- Experience at coaching teams and facilitating trainings
- Familiarity with different training methods (mentoring/coaching, on-the job and in-class training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc..).
- Familiarity with sales team’s management.
- Experience in leading and managing teams.
- Able to travel around 50% of the time in America and occasionally worldwide
Education:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Psychology, Pedagogy or similar discipline.
Languages:
- Excellent command of Spanish and English are required. French and Portuguese are a plus.

- Excellent Communication, Presentation & Public Speaking skills.
- High Organization & People skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire and influence others.

- Digital education platforms
