
Media & Communications Manager | Latam Distributors

The Opportunity
In Latam Distributors, we oversee 15 countries in Latin America. The focus of our organization is to support our distributors in these markets to achieve the annual goals.
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and media-savvy professional that will help lead and execute external communications initiatives that drive brand awareness, sales, and consumer engagement.
This position will bridge global brand vision with LATAM market execution, working closely with global headquarters, agency partners, and distributor teams, to drive strategic media investment, optimize communications flows, and champion regional storytelling that reflects our brand's identity and objectives. This hybrid role integrates cross-functional coordination, media strategy, content alignment, and influencer program oversight.
What you'll get to do
Media Strategy & Investment Oversight: Lead & implement media budget planning across traditional and digital channels, propose investment priorities with BMC, and deploy global strategy locally in partnership with Starcom LATAM. Collaborate with distributors in local Media investment plan and follow up. Integrate media flow Puig+ Distributors. Oversee media agency relationships and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality reports. Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights.
Campaign Media Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of advertising campaigns across all channels. Create strategic Media briefs for Media agencies and follow up the strategic plan to be implemented on time. Stay up to date on market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
Performance Analysis & Optimization: Analyze campaign performance and provide detailed reports to assess effectiveness and suggest improvements. Define KPIs and tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective measurement. Conduct post-campaign analysis to measure and report performance against goals. Identify trends and insights, optimizing spending and performance based on data. Challenge agencies to improve digital media efficiency. Responsible for optimizing media performance, using a test & learn approach.
Insights & Reporting: Manage regional reporting on paid media performance and communication effectiveness for internal teams and distributors. Offer actionable insights to refine strategy and promote best practices across markets.
Tool & Process Optimization: Detect local needs related to budget, assets, and workflows. Create synergies across markets to streamline brand requests and improve operational efficiency.
Agency & Vendor Management: Act as the main regional liaison with Starcom, overseeing audits, payments, contract alignment, Way of working process, innovation projects, and vendor coordination. Media tool update.
Communication Regional Content & Communications: Lead content development for campaigns, social media, toolkits, and branded storytelling—ensuring message consistency and alignment with brand voice across all LATAM touchpoints.
PR & Influencer Strategy: Support the deployment of influencer and creator partnerships using tools such as Lefty, prioritizing LATAM beauty talent and ensuring regional consistency in activations and approvals. Work with Brand Manager to build a robust strategy for earned media and influencer activations. Create PR strategy in collaboration with brand managers and follow up implementation.
Market & Brand Alignment: Foster agile communication and strategic alignment between LATAM markets, brands, and HQ teams to streamline planning, execution, and feedback loops.
We'd love to meet you if you have
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or it’s equivalent in experience.
3–5 years of managerial experience in media. Preferably with experience managing influencers/PR within the beauty, fashion, or consumer goods sectors.
Preferably with demonstrated success working within LATAM markets and an understanding of regional consumer trends and media preferences.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Project and process management abilities: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Media project management capabilities: Ability to optimize media performance and budget, innovating with a test & learn approach. Ability to analyze data and drive strategic insights.
In-depth knowledge of social media and consumer expectations.
