The Opportunity
The LATAM Distributors Brand Manager for Prestige and Niche brands will develop and implement business and marketing plans for the brands under their responsibility, aiming to achieve objectives related to image, market share, net revenues, and profitability. The scope of this position covers all markets within the LATAM Distributors business unit—15 countries in Latin America managed through a distributor model.
This is a new role within the business unit and will require an entrepreneurial mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a hands-on approach.
What you'll get to do
Strategic Marketing Planning
- Define Regional Marketing plan in line with HQ´s Guidelines and BMC for assigned brands’ portfolio (Niche Brands), identifying key opportunities in the region together with Marketing, Retail and Commercial teams.
- Define priorities by universe and market. Set Brand Priorities and Activity Calendar per market.
- Oversee the Marketing Plan’s preparation and implementation.
- Provide A&P Guidelines and Control for Distributors.
- Coordination of on-counter dates and marketing calendars.
- Become an expert in the Niche market – sharing insights on existing and emerging brands, creative local initiatives, best practices, etc.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of the competition, identifying strong initiatives across the region.
- Identify gaps and areas of unique opportunities and propose ways to conquer these points.
- Provide Price Positioning Guidelines per market and implement the process in the internal system.
Budgeting and Accountancy Analysis
- Management and control of P&L (Net Revenues, A&P, Gross Profit & Contribution to Fixed Costs).
- Define and Monitor Budget Values per Brand.
- Provide Budget and Guidelines for Media & Digital Investment.
- Ensuring Accuracy of CPS sessions forecast and follow up to achieve annual objectives.
- Define Product Mix & Promotional Plan.
- Define A&P internal Expenditure per Market and monthly follow-up.
Relationship Management
- Maintain solid relationships and liaison with Corporate Brand teams.
- Lead Communication between brands (HQ) and markets (Commercial Managers & Distributors).
- Work in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager and peers to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.
- Work closely with distributors in order to understand local needs and deliver a strategic plan by market.
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Experience of +5 years in functions or related activities, such as sales, marketing, retail, etc. where the main objective has been to increase sales, brand and/or consumer experience.
- Previous experience in Fragrance, Luxury or Niche brands is required.
- Previous experience working with distributors model is a plus.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or similar discipline.
- Excellent command of Spanish and English, both verbally and in written.
- Excellent Communicational and Interpersonal skills.
- High Organization, Time Management and Priority Setting Skills. And able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical skills to assess situations, identify opportunities and propose solutions.
- Multicultural sensitivity/awareness to maintain positive relations and excellent communication with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Creative, resourceful and goal oriented.
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary projects with teams of people from diverse backgrounds.
