The Opportunity

Travel Retail Americas is looking for a Brand Manager to represent Rabanne. As Rabane''s Brand Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy of the responsible brands, in order to achieve the budgeted objectives in terms of Value Market Share and Net Revenues. 

What you'll get to do

Define & implement Travel Retail Americas Marketing Strategy for the assigned Brands

Be the brand ambassador:

  • Be the expert on the brand vision and strategy: through on-going contact with global head office teams gain a solid understanding of the brand vision and strategy and identify the most successful ways to tailor it for the TRA market.
  • Implementation of TRA marketing plans and strategic priorities: by clearly conveying a brand vision and working collaboratively across functional teams.
  • Develop strong collaborative working relationships both internally and externally: be comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization.

Develop marketing mixes from ideas to launch:

  • Lead local marketing mix planning, development and implementation, in line with brand vision and objectives. Responsible for all day-to-day operational management of the brands.
  • Implement new product launches and strive to maintain growth on core business pillar products, in alignment with the overall brand strategy.
  • Manage product launch and new initiatives from forecast to retail implementation.
  • Maintain and update marketing plans on an on-going basis. Regularly communicate brand plans to cross functional teams.
  • Lead marketing plan presentation to internal team, and to retailers.
  • Ensure presentations for new product launches and promotions are 100% tailored to the audience, and delivered in a dynamic, clear and motivational manner.
  • Take a wide, strategic view of all responsibilities and projects, conscious of implications for other departments and proactive in aligning and engaging all in the vision, clarifying requirements of others ahead of time.
  • A strong knowledge of the details of all brand dynamics, sales, objectives, KPIs and all marketing actions i.e. promotions, sampling activities etc.

Monitor budget, forecast and sales:

  • Establish/manage brand budgets in line financial objectives.
  • Work closely with Demand Planning and Commercial teams to ensure forecast accuracy and stock availability.
  • Evaluate sales performance at both sell-out and sell-in level, working with the relevant departments on action plans.
  • Partner with Sales and Retail teams to maximize sell-out:
  • Work closely with the Commercial and Retail teams to propose and deliver tailored trade marketing plans based on specific retailer strategies.
  • Field visits to discover the market and monitor activity out in store with a pro-active reporting: competition launches, etc.
  • You’ll lead a Cross functional role.
  • Fully responsible for Pricing analysis and recommendations, following brands guidelines
  • Responsible for Media strategy for the responsible brands and investment.

 

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • 2+ years’ experience in Marketing positions in the Luxury industry, preferably in Travel Retail.
  • Languages: Excellent command of Spanish and English. French and Portuguese are a plus.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Digital experience and knowledge is required
  • Experience with travel retail market is an advantage
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Luxury Management or similar.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Creative thinker: disruptive, out-of-the box, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Consumer focused: understanding of the Americas region and diverse consumers.
  • Advanced use of MS Office.  Advanced digital & social media knowledge is a plus.
  • Passionate and energetic, fearless to challenge the status quo.
