The Opportunity
This role is pivotal in defining and driving the overall marketing strategy that will deliver the goals for PUIG Mexico business through the management of a diversified portfolio in fragrance and beauty for all Brands to be distributed by the BU, to accomplish objectives set in terms of market share, net revenues, profitability, and working capital.
What you'll get to do
- Lead, coordinate and evaluate to the Marketing team: Product management, Digital, Media & Communication areas (PR & Influencer Marketing).
- Ensure Group training directives are implemented on a local basis utilizing group tools where applicable and sourcing locally in accordance to Brand guidelines.
- Plan and negotiate the pricing strategy, distribution, promotion, point of sales and investments of the brands to assure the achievement of the objectives and profitability expected.
- Lead and and track effective strategies of Communication and Media, defining the priorities and appropiate channels to achieve the Company´s KPIs. Ensure Company KPI´s are measured.
- Consumer Intelligence: Plan and develop projects to ensure knowledge of the consumers.
- Define and propose Marketing plans following the standards of excellence established by the Company.
- Define, propose and negotiate promotional actions to transfer the brands identity into the point of sales to guarantee fixed objectives.
- Realize and control the reporting of the area for International Development and Brands.
- Coordination and collaboration with Commercial, Retail and Operations departments to ensure local objectives accomplishment.
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Approximately 10 years of Brand Marketing, Category Management and operational marketing in prestige/luxury/premium/niche Brands within industries in Fragrances/ Cosmetics/ Luxury Categories, with demonstrated career progression and leadership.
- Experience in a structured multinational company, with proven experience in navigating an internal matrix of Global and Regional stakeholders.
- Digital driven marketing expert in media management, digital marketing and communication, marketing strategic planning & consumer insight, brand development and retail consumer events, in the fragrances and cosmetics universes.
- Strategic thinking and pragmatic leader with exceptional analytical skills and an ability to generate actionable insight from complex data.
- English conversational skills is a must. Other languages will be considered a plus.
