The Opportunity
The Global Dr. Barbara Sturm Brand & Creative department are seeking to appoint a strategic, data-driven and innovative Senior Social Media & Community Manager to lead the global Social Media and Community function. As Senior Social Media & Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of all Dr. Barbara Sturm owned social media platforms and the social media footprint. You will develop and deliver the global social media marketing and community management strategies – ensuring best-in-class storytelling, 360 community interaction, and strategic initiatives and partnerships to drive brand awareness, engagement and community growth. This is a temporary fixed- term contract for 12 months from June 2025. |
What you'll get to do
- Define and implement organic social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Pinterest to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and growth.
- Develop a 360 global communications content calendar, collaborating closely with Global and Regional Marketing teams to amplify both global and localized activations.
- Conceptualize and ideate diverse, innovative, and engaging content with the internal creative team to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Craft well-written, engaging, and optimized social-first copy that aligns with the brand's tone of voice. Ensure all copy is meticulously proofed to maintain high standards across all channels and formats.
- Grow, foster, and engage the brand community. Ensure continuous dialogue with customers, influencers, and key opinion leaders to strengthen relationships and drive advocacy.
- Own the reporting and insights for organic social performance, industry benchmarks, and social listening. Optimize strategy and content through a test-and-learn approach.
- Collaborate with the Paid Media Marketing Teams to amplify and leverage key press, influencer, and KOL activations across organic social channels. Develop and support influencer marketing campaigns.
- Anticipate and lead in emerging platforms, evolving content and creative trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
- Develop and oversee the annual social media budget. Optimize allocation to maximize ROI and campaign effectiveness. Manage relationships with platform partners and social media management tools.
- Collaborate with the Paid Media Marketing team to develop a cohesive paid and organic social strategy, ensuring synergy between content and communications while optimizing social-first organic content for paid media channels.
