The Opportunity

 

We have an opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager to join us for a maternity cover contract, overseeing our Penhaligon's brand. 

In this role you will work closely with the UK cross-functional teams to drive the success for Penhaligon’s and bring marketing campaigns to life from ideation to implementation. This role will have exposure to the international brand development, digital and communications teams with the opportunity to influence new projects. You will also have regular contact with retailers, influencing across all levels both internally and externally.

 

What you'll get to do

 

• Build effective working relationships with the Global Brand teams for Penhaligon’s, to be able to implement the global strategy into the UK Market.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to effectively drive productivity and build brand love in your market.
• Clearly convey the brand vision and work collaboratively with the UK cross functional teams and agency partners, for successful implementation of the UK marketing plans and strategic priorities.
• Maintain and update the marketing plans on an on-going basis, delivering to the annual in-store activations calendar. Regularly communicate brand plans to cross functional teams.
• Lead local marketing mix and Go To Market planning in line with Brand vision. Responsible for all day-to-day operational management of the brands.
• Lead new product launches and strive to maintain growth on core products, in alignment with the overall strategy.
• Bring a strong knowledge of the details of all brand dynamics, sales, objectives, KPIs and all marketing actions i.e. in-store events, sampling activities etc.
• Plan and manage trade marketing budgets and accurately track marketing spend, in line financial objectives.
• Evaluate sales performance at both sell in and sell out level for NPD and new initiatives, working with the relevant departments on action plans.
Foster cross-functional relationships, to maximise brand results in the market:
• Work closely with commercial & VM teams to propose and deliver tailored trade marketing and In-Store Animation plans based on the specific strategies and needs.

• Experience within the retail industry in the UK market is a must.
• Proven digital experience and knowledge.
