The Opportunity
The Global Dr. Barbara Sturm Brand & Creative team is seeking a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media & Community Executive to support the day-to-day execution of our global social media strategy and play a key role in shaping and delivering social-first content for the Dr. Barbara Sturm brand.
What you'll get to do
As Social Media & Community Executive, you will be instrumental in implementing the global media strategy; reporting into the Senior Social Media & Community Manager, you will work with the wider Brand & Creative and Marketing teams to bring our campaigns to life across the social channels in a creative, innovative and engaging manner, deliver best-in-class content and engage with our ever-growing community.
Key responsibilities:
Ideation & Execution: Support the development and delivery of platform-optimized content, particularly Instagram Stories and TikTok, ensuring alignment with the Global Marketing Calendar, brand identity and tone of voice.
Content Creation: Produce and create engaging, short-form content tailored to each platform, with a strong focus on storytelling, visual impact and platform-specific best practices to drive reach and engagement.
Creative Briefing: Collaborate with the creative team to deliver best-in-class, social-first assets by developing clear, concise, and timely briefs – ensuring social best practices that meet campaign objectives.
Copywriting: Craft engaging, well-written and SEO-optimized captions and in-asset copy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & X.
Social Commerce Campaigns: Lead the execution of NPD launch campaigns across Meta Shop and TikTok Shop, ensuring all product assets and visual merchandising of the commerce channels are updated ahead of launch.
Content Scheduling & Publishing: Manage the day-to-day scheduling and publishing of content across all Dr. Barbara Sturm social platforms in line with optimum publishing times.
Community Engagement: Support the growth and development of our social community by proactively engaging in the comments of owned and earned content, in addition to executing community activations such as user-generated content campaigns and contests.
Performance Support: Assist in tracking content performance and compiling reports to help inform and optimize strategy and content.
Trend Spotting: Monitor emerging trends and cultural moments, highlighting key opportunities to support the wider team to keep Dr. Barbara Sturm at the forefront of the social landscape.
We'd love to meet you if you have
1-2 years of experience in a social media, content, or community role, ideally within beauty, fashion, wellness, or lifestyle sectors.
A strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram – with a passion for creative, engaging social-first storytelling content.
Social-first design and video-editing skills (e.g. Canva and CapCut).
Experience using social media management tools to schedule and analyse content performance.
Excellent command of the English language.
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
A can-do attitude and enthusiasm to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
