The Opportunity
We are looking for an in-house Digital Designer to join the Dr Barbara Sturm team in London. You will be reporting to the Assistant Digital Design Manager, and working within the Brand, Creative & Social team, executing high quality digital assets for email marketing, e-commerce page build and asset creation such as banners, gifs, product image resizing, video editing (cropping, resizing) and lending creative help to the Digital Team.
You will be a go-getter, interested in exposure to digital marketing for the skincare and luxury industries and confident experience using the Adobe suite – in particular Adobe Photoshop and Figma. Experience using Shogun (or any other page builder) is a huge plus. The ideal candidate will also be media savvy and up to date on all the latest design trends, techniques and tools in the digital world.
What you'll get to do
• Design and build responsive web pages (campaign landing pages, product pages, blog pages) with a keen eye for user experience and interface created across the full global drsturm.com stores
• Design and update assets for drsturm.com, taking note of user analytics to help make creative decisions
• Concept and design engaging emails that are on-brand and following best practice
• Ensure that work adheres to brand standards and project deliverables
• Work with Assistant Digital Design Manager to meet goals and deadlines
• Actively participate in campaign brainstorms and execution
• Ability to generate ideas, actively seek, and design new creations that are both on trend and captivating
We'd love to meet you if you have
• 1-2 years’ experience as a Digital Designer
• Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop, and Figma
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator
• Shogun (or other page builder) experience
• Must have strong attention to detail, typography, composition and layout skills
• Strong understanding of digital design and conversion metrics
• Experience working to templated creative and interpreting briefs to best practice outcomes
• Fashion or beauty e-commerce experience a huge plus
• Bachelor’s degree in visual communication/ graphic design, or equivalent experience
• Ability to concept, develop and create a wide variety of creative assets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, individually and also a positive team player
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and stay organized
• Efficiency in personal time management
