HR Generalist (Part-Time, 80%)

The Opportunity

As an HR Generalist, you will play a central role in advancing our People & Culture agenda and ensuring a high-quality, consistent experience across the organization. You will contribute to the effective implementation of people programs, policies, and processes, helping shape a workplace were people feel supported and connected.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will collaborate closely with the Senior HR Operations Specialist within the Swiss HR Hub. In addition, you will support People Partnering activities with opportunities to contribute in cross-functional initiatives at both local and regional levels.

What you'll get to do

People Support & Advisory

  • Provide reliable and dedicated advisory support across the organization.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies, tools and processes in full compliance with Swiss labor laws and internal standards.
  • Coordinate the review and the update of policies, documentation, and procedures.

People Experience & Engagement

  • Strengthen the people experience through clear, timely, and aligned communication.
  • Coordinate people-focused initiatives, events, and learning opportunities that reinforce engagement and organizational culture.

People Operations & Lifecycle Management

  • Support key people & culture processes, including Talent Acquisition coordination, Talent Development cycles, and Performance management activities.
  • Lead core lifecycle touchpoints, including onboarding delivery, end-of-probation follow-ups, and offboarding processes (including work certificates preparation).
  • Act as primary operational backup for the Senior HR Operations Specialist (benefits administration, people data management, time management).
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety standards in collaboration with Facilities & Support teams.

Projects, KPIs & Governance

  • Contribute to people & culture projects, continuous improvement initiatives and activities.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis, maintain KPIs, and support internal and external audit readiness.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality in all people‑related information and reporting.

Responsibilities may evolve depending on department needs.

We'd love to meet you if you have

Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role in Switzerland., ideally in an international matrix environment. Strong background in employment relations, HR administration and compliance.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.

Languages: Fluent in English and French, other languages are an advantage.

  • Strong customer orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High flexibility with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and solid knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
  • Practical, critical thinker, able to navigate a matrix organization and manage ambiguity.
  • Autonomous, pro-active, and detail oriented.
  • Strong drive for excellence, delivering high-quality HR service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

Specific Knowledge required: Proven experience in HR Generalist roles. Familiarity with HRIS systems.
