The Opportunity

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy of the traditional perfumery channel in Spain, managing a team of Key Account Managers. Your mission will be to drive the profitable growth of our Prestige brands – Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gaultier, Rabanne, and Nina Ricci – in this channel, strengthening relationships with key clients and ensuring the effective execution of commercial and activation plans.

You will act as a strategic and business reference, ensuring alignment between Marketing, Trade Marketing, and the Sales team to achieve revenue, profitability, and distribution objectives.

What you'll get to do

Commercial Vision and Category Development

  • Define and lead the strategy for the traditional channel, aligned with company objectives.
  • Coordinate and supervise the Key Account Plans of each KAM, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution.
  • Identify growth opportunities for categories and brands within the channel, anticipating trends and competitive moves.
  • Translate global and brand strategies into specific plans for the channel and key clients.

Revenue and Profitability Management

  • Own the P&L of the traditional channel: defining investments, margins, and commercial conditions.
  • Ensure proper negotiation with key clients, guaranteeing the return on commercial and marketing investments.
  • Control sales forecasts in collaboration with Sales Intelligence and S&OP.
  • Review and approve financial simulations and business scenarios prepared by KAMs.

Omnichannel Activation in the Traditional Channel

  • Oversee the proper execution of activation plans at POS and digital within the channel.
  • Ensure visibility, availability, and timely presence of new launches with managed clients.
  • Guarantee excellence in the implementation of POS materials, promotions, and training programs.
  • Drive innovative activation plans to enhance the brand experience within the channel.

Client Management and Strategic Relationships

  • Develop high-level strategic relationships with key clients in the traditional channel.
  • Ensure the implementation of Joint Business Plans with priority clients, aligning long-term shared objectives.
  • Act as the voice of the client within the organization, sharing relevant insights with Marketing, Trade, and Operations.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of KAMs, ensuring their professional growth and high performance.
  • Set clear priorities, monitor achievement of objectives, and support key negotiations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results orientation

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of sales experience, including KAM roles and at least 2–3 years in leadership positions.
  • Experience in the cosmetics, perfumery, FMCG, or similar sectors, with knowledge of the traditional perfumery channel in Spain.
  • Proven track record in managing key clients and high-level negotiations.
  • Strong analytical skills to manage P&L, investments, and financial scenarios.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Office tools and SAP.
  • Languages: Native Spanish, fluent English.
  • Competencies: strategic vision, results orientation, negotiation skills, leadership, analytical thinking, agility, and influencing skills.
