The Opportunity

As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with regulatory and claim substantiation teams to ensure the safety of our fragrance, makeup, and skincare products. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive safety evaluations of raw materials and product formulations using various sources of information
  • Contributing to the development of the Cosmetic Product Safety Report and its conclusions
  • Providing recommendations on claims substantiation and potential reformulations

What you'll get to do

  • Evaluate toxicological profiles of raw materials, cosmetic ingredients, substances, and impurities
  • Define and oversee in vitro and clinical testing during product development and revise final conclusions
  • Conduct risk assessments of cosmetic products based on comprehensive data analysis
  • Assess and ensure the safety of packaging materials
  • Support the cosmetovigilance process to monitor and manage product safety
  • Provide administrative support to the department as needed

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • 0-1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge or advanced studies in toxicology
  • Familiarity with EU cosmetic regulations, particularly the EU Cosmetic Regulation and REACH
  • Previous experience with cosmetic finished products or chemical raw materials is a plus
  • Pharmaceutical, Biologist or biochemical degree. PhD would be a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish and English. French would be a plus 
  • Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility and perseverance
  • Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
