The Opportunity
Mission:
General Support to Global Financial Services Tax & Statutory Compliance Department
What you'll get to do
TAX&COMPLIANCE
- Involvement and support to GFS Tax Department for tax compliance.
- Coordinate and support Subsidiaries managed directly from HQ’s tax obligations and reporting. Preparation and review of CIT liabilities for subsidiaries in different jurisdictions. Reconciliation of PAT for reporting purposes (IFRS vs Statutory).
- Corporate Tax control worldwide (budget-LE-Actual) in terms of ETR calculation (recurrently during the year we ensure CIT calculation is correct and aligned).
- Management of notifications from tax authorities in subsidiaries’ jurisdictions and coordination with external tax advisors in some of these jurisdictions.
- Budget control (department – local taxes – insurance)
- Collaboration with other Departments such as IT, AP to automate, validate tax codes and improve processes.
- Support and review VAT and other recurrent tax compliance matters in subsidiaries’ jurisdictions (Sales Listing, Intrastat, Plastic Tax, etc).
- Tax related reports such as preparation and follow up of Pillar II, Country-by-Country Reporting or Total Group’s tax contribution.
- Preparation and follow-up intercompany service agreements based on transfer pricing policy.
- Preparation and analysis of Master File data.
- Develop controls, automation and improvements on IT systems related to accounting and tax processes.
- Technical tax advisory on new logistic flows. Involvement in all centralization projects for integration of new companies and businesses.
STATUTORY & REPORTING
- Coordinate & support closing and reporting worldwide.
- Execute and supervise cross processes across all subsidiaries.
- Analyze statutory figures by legal entity and implement corrections and improvements.
- Support to Corporate Treasury with closing figures
- Support and cooperation with controlling function of different Business Units.

Experience:
At least 2 years’ experience in a Finance or Tax Department
Education:
- Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting Degrees.
Languages:
- English
- Spanish
- French (valuable)
- Catalan (valuable)

Specific Knowledge required:
- SAP user
