The Opportunity

 

Mission:

To evolve S&OP process and ensure that the process & planning tools are harmonized across the organization and covers Puig needs and challenges (new categories, new channels, new geographies, new brands, new team members) and ensure the correct  knowledge level for all DP and SP community  and support them on their day-to-day questions and ensure the troubleshooting of any issues related to the planning tools.

 

What you'll get to do

 

Planification:

  • Maximize planning tool capabilities and lead technical developments and improvements (define business requirements, participate in the functional design, execute UAT, training and go live)
  • Manage priorities and give visibility to  IT and external consultants of the roadmap
  • To analyze opportunities and drive interdepartmental projects to improve S&OP procedures and KPIs outcomes

 

Execution:

  • To continuously improve on existing processes & tools based on detected issues and internal best practices
  • To provide recommendations on the best planning model/strategy to use for each segment/demand pattern
  • To deploy harmonized S&OP process and tools, and monitor process aligment
  • To organize follow up meetings or visits on site to review and check on process status and share best practices
  • To develop matrices which help to properly size Local teams
  • To execute training sessions on new procedures, tools or applications to local teams and participate on  onboarding training of new commers to the Planning Community
  • To ensure planning tools reliability
  • To act as main point of contact between Planning community and as the interface between them and IT
  • To improve and strengthen the communication flow between Local teams and HQ Product Supply departments
  • To assist the teams in their day-to-day questions, solve problems and provide technical guidance and support
  • To participate and contribute to Global Planning Meeting (annual convention)
  • To act as a S&OP key Business Process Expert for new brands, new geographies or new businesses based on the roadmap
  • To troubleshoot / ensure planning tools related issues (batch jobs, interfaces, authorizations, performance) are addressed

 

Control:

  • Demand Planning support tasks: valuation, link with finance, monthly controls, report FA/Bias, etc
  • Strategic S&OP Coordination and preparation
  • To lead the change by identifing opportunities on digitalization and automation fo the S&OP process and tools
  • To facilitate decision making based on data analytics and alerts (templates & dashboards)
  • Statistical models optimization
  • To ensure that product segmentation analysis by market based on volatility and demand patterns is performed

 

We'd love to meet you if you have

 

Experience:

  • At least 2 years as a Senior Specialist in a similar position.

 

Education:

  • University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is a plus.

 

Languages:

  • Fluent English and Spanish.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge about Supply Chain Management
  • Supply Chain Planning (FCST techniques, Inventory policies...)  
  • Expertise in Planning Tools, SAP IBP or SAP APO, implying a robust understanding of supply chain management and ability to leverage these tools effectively for planning processes, such as demand planning, supply planning and inventory optimization
  • Practical knowledge in ERP System (SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA)
