The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented Graduate Regulatory Affairs to support the creation and maintenance of our internal regulatory database. Your primary mission will be to interpret global cosmetic ingredient regulations and convert them into accurate, structured data used by our internal compliance‑checking systems. This role is ideal for a scientifically trained graduate (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science) who is rigorous, analytical, and motivated by data‑driven regulatory work.
What you'll get to do
Regulatory Database Development
- Build and structure a comprehensive regulatory ingredient database covering global cosmetic regulations (EU, US, LATAM, APAC, Middle East).
- Extract and translate complex legal requirements (ingredient bans, restrictions, conditions of use, warnings) into standardized, machine readable data fields.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability of all regulatory entries.
- Collaborate with internal experts to validate interpretations and ensure correct alignment with regulatory expectations.
Ingredient Regulation Interpretation
- Review and interpret regulatory texts, lists, and annexes from international cosmetic frameworks.
- Assess regulatory status of cosmetic ingredients and usage limitations.
- Monitor updates to ingredient regulations and integrate changes into the database.
- Support decision making by providing clear, structured interpretations of regulatory requirements.
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
- Solid understanding of cosmetic regulations (EU 1223/2009 and global equivalents).
- Familiarity with cosmetic ingredients and formulation principles is an advantage.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
