The Opportunity

Responsible for assessing and ensuring regulatory compliance of cosmetic raw materials and home care products towards chemical and cosmetic regulations and warranting conformity with internal policy. 

What you'll get to do

  • Home Care Products:
    • Carrying out hazard calculation in accordance with the classification criteria for dangerous mixture
    • Creation and review of chemical product labelling
    • Notification in the different European Poison Centers
    • Management of documentation and data needed for chemical products international export (Middle East, Korea, Japan, etc.)
  • Cosmetic raw materials:
    • Improving processes and ensuring substances, raw materials and products are assessed, approved, and handled in compliance with chemical and cosmetics regulations and in conformity with internal policy
    • Approval of new suppliers for existing raw materials.
    • Data management to comply with chemical legislation in those countries that requires it (e.g. Australia, South Korea, Canada, etc.)

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Scientific disciplines (Master of Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalents)
  • Minimum 5 years in regulatory affairs for the cosmetic and/or chemical sector
  • Strong knowledge of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 on classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP Regulation), Korea K-Reach, Japan CSCL (Chemical Substance Control Law), Canada NDSL, Australia (AICS)
  • Strong Knowledge on Cosmetic Product Regulation worldwide 
  • Good command of the Office package, especially Excel
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills to complete assignments accurately
  • Ability to meet deadlines while being flexible to changes in priorities and interruptions
  • High energy and high capacity to handle multiple priorities under time-pressure
