The Opportunity

Ensure the safety of cosmetic products through the microbiological risk assessment and generating specifications. Manage and review microbiological tests in the development phase of new cosmetic products.

What you'll get to do

Generate and manage the required documentation related to microbiology: test methods and the Technical Information File (microbiology specifications and challenge test report) according to the current EU Regulation
Carry out microbiological analysis and tests in the development phase of new cosmetic products, calculate, record, and interpret results
Develop innovative preservative's formulations
Keep abreast of all relevant Regulation's requirements to have a good knowledge of standard microbiological methods. Follow-up, collect and review the scientific information related to the area
Participate in normalization organizations (STANPA, CEN, ISO, Cosmetics Europe)
Use, adjust, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and update the required documentation

We'd love to meet you if you have

4 years in a Microbiology Laboratory
Degree in Biology or similar
Fluency Spanish and English. French would be a plus
Basic knowledge in computers (Windows, PC user…) - Technical skills (Laboratory) - Interest in Cosmetic Microbiology
