The Opportunity

Reporting to the R&D Managing Director, the Quality Director will lead efforts to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Quality Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, implement best practices, and achieve operational efficiency.

What you'll get to do

  • Oversee supplier qualification
  • Manage supplier evaluation, audits, action plans and quality agreements
  • Manage supplier quality performance
  • Manage product quality from warehouse to end consumer 
  • Management of complaints and market non-conformities
  • Develop and implement customer quality strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to address quality issues and establish quality objectives
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement plans to mitigate identified risks associated with product quality
  • Manage quality projects and establish quality metrics and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Pilot the quality integration of new businesses

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry-specific quality standards and practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field + Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. French would be a plus
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies 
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in quality management tools and data analysis
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, GMP, etc.)
