The Opportunity

Assist the Category Manager in managing the purchasing relationship and negotiations with suppliers to implement the Company Purchasing Strategies and Plans for the assigned categories.
Give support and monitors the Packaging and Purchasing NPD and Existing Portfolio Teams in applying the Global Policy for Suppliers. 
Give support to Puig Industrial sites in applying Materials Provisioning processes for the related categories and actively contribute to excel in procurement.

What you'll get to do

  • Participate and contribute to the Suppliers Strategic Plan
    • Preparation of the GPS and other reporting
    • Category-plan execution 
    • New suppliers identification
  • Participate and contribute to the Cost Efficiency
    • Know the situation of the supply market: raw materials price indexes, terms, supply and demand status
    • Maintain category price indexes database
    • Price negotiations
    • Manage the annual quota arrangement for suppliers according to price criteria, supplier strategy and risk management
  • Participate and contribute to the Supplier Relationship Management
    • Business review and other meetings with suppliers
    • S&OP/RCCP meetings with suppliers providing information on trends, risks, capacity constraints, materials requirement and obsolescence
  • Participate and contribute to the Category Performance Improvement
    • Material classification and categorization
    • Data analysis in order to identify opportunities to improve and/or to growth
    • Provide support to the industrial logistic team with the inventory management
    • Continuous improvement and development of the Supplier’s Portal.
  • Participate and contribute to the Suppliers Risk Mitigation
    • Capacity constraints analysis
    • Maintain Suppliers' Risk Assessment Monitoring Tool
    • Supplier KPIs follow-up
    • Control moulds and tooling inventory and its maintenance and renewal programs in coordination with the Optimization team
  • Cross Functional Collaboration (Product Supply & Product Development)
    • Provide support to other areas: Industrial Logistic, Supply Planning, Processes & Data, ESG, New Products Development, Existing Portfolio Management, Quality, Global Purchasing

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial or Purchasing. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, industrial, logistics or purchasing
  • Fluency Spanish and English. French would be a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience or training in SAP or other ERP systems. Demonstrated ability in managing, exporting, and consolidating data effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
  • Quick learner with the capability to adapt to new systems and processes. Open to feedback and committed to personal and professional growth
  • Proven ability to identify issues, analyse solutions, and execute plans to resolve problems efficiently
