The Opportunity

Working on the Testing team, the selected employee will plan and execute the different homologation and compatibility tests on the packaging and the finished product, during the development of the R&D projects (fragrances, skincare and make up).
 

What you'll get to do

  • Plan and execute functional, dimensional, and chemical tests on packaging according to the necessities of projects and timings
  • Plan and launch compatibility tests between the packaging and formulas
  • Work in “problem solving” mode to understand the problems and propose solutions
  • Proactive collaboration and coordination with the Packaging Engineering teams as well as the Formula Development teams for the three categories – Fragrance, Skincare or Make Up
  • Create the documentation necessary for each test (protocol, reports…)
  • Manage and update homologation status of components on SAP
  • Collaborate in the organization of the department and the tasks
  • Develop new tests methods based on the new project’s needs
  • Design of the Testing plan according to risks assessment, on packaging components and finished product for complex projects

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Entry level position. 1 years of previous experience in a similar role is valuable
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Chemistry Engineering, Chemistry Science, Materials Science, Perfumery/Cosmetics or similar
  • Fluent in Spanish and English. French would be a plus
  • Competencies: 
    • Analysis and methodical working are a must, as well as organization and flexibility to be able to work in an environment constantly evolving
    • Team player
    • Communication skills and creation of trust relations
    • Knowledge in computer tools (Windows, MS Office, SAP…)
  • Specific Knowledge required: 
    • Technical knowledge of plastic and glass materials, treatments, decoration is valuable
    • Technical knowledge of chemical compatibility of the materials is valuable
