The Opportunity
The Obsoletes Analyst serves as the focal point for obsolescence analysis and forecasting within the global inventory organization. This role is responsible for driving visibility and accountability around obsolete inventory by delivering accurate, data-driven assessments and rolling forecasts. Through close collaboration with supply chain, finance, and commercial teams, the analyst ensures early identification of obsoletes, enabling timely decision-making mitigation actions. The ultimate goal is to minimize financial exposure, support inventory health, and align obsolescence management with broader business objectives, both at HQ and Subsidiaries.
What you'll get to do
- Act as the central point of contact for Obsoletes topics across supply chain, finance, product management, and commercial functions.
- Build and maintain rolling 12–24 month forecasts for obsolete inventories
- Incorporate demand trends, lifecycle data, and product transitions into the Obsoletes forecast model.
- Provide monthly and quarterly Obsoletes reporting packages for leadership and finance and brands stakeholders
- Categorize and segment obsolete items by business impact, product category, and liquidation options
- Facilitate regular reviews with cross-functional teams to align on risk, exposure, and mitigation actions
- Identify opportunities for rework, resale, or redeployment of obsolete materials.
- Track Obsoletes KPIs including destruction and recovery efforts.
- Regularly update assumptions and validate accuracy of forecast vs. actuals.
- Support Finance during quarter-end reviews and inventory provisioning processes at Year-End.
- Utilize ERP, planning systems, and BI tools to extract, analyze, and visualize Obsoletes data.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably in a global setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Mandatory expertise in data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Fluent English is a must
- Finance knowledge is a plus.
