Materials Planning Executive

The Opportunity

Guarantee the correct stock level, to supply the plant, providing the plant with the materials required for the production schedule, as well as the required materials in other centers and/or outsourcing, meeting, in compliance with the guidelines established by the Purchasing Management, and the requirements of the production plant.

What you'll get to do

Main functions and responsibilities:

 

To plan the delivery of orders and define the plans for long-term suppliers

 

Execution

 

To execute the functions related to the job place in compliance with the safety procedures and regulations established
To manage the materials replenishment in time and ways, balancing quality and price in accordance with the purchasing policy
To analyze the MRP (Material Requirement Planning). Attend the requirements that may appear from the Demand Planning Department in accordance with the scheduling area
To order alcohol and carry out the monthly balance, submitting the required documentation. (N/A in Chartres, it’s Making)
To substitute other functions based in the needs of the plant
To request the maintenance of the master data of the references of each planner to the belonging department
To give support to the Department Responsible in any other task required in the department
To carry out the Green Belt's Functions: enable the Continuous Improvement
To analyze and carry out alternative plans to bottleneck situations or critical materials

 

Control

 

To review availability of materials and follow-up of the missing
To monitor the products needs in other centers or suppliers and schedule the preparation of the shipment
To monitor orders negotiations, materials deliveries and quality of the same
To manage the suitable stock levels to provide plant and maintain the appropriate quotes in our warehouses.
To monitor and control stock levels
To follow-up and control of the materials balances when discontinuations or changes in presentation
To claim, and further follow-up of the same, to supplier for failing to comply the Company’s regulations in terms of quality and conditioning of the deliveries
To manage and follow-up the destructions
To follow-up KPIs of the area

Requirements for the role:

 

Bachelor Degree (Engineering, management, industrial, business administration or similar).

 

Languages:

 

Spanish: fluent (written and spoken)
English: fluent (written and spoken)
French: fluent (written and spoken)

 

Knowledges:

 

Minimum 1 year in a similar position.
Replenishment training.
Microsoft office.
Management MRP.
Experienced in negotiating with external suppliers.
Experience of SAP would be a plus.
Experience in purchasing of chemical raw materials.
