The Opportunity

As the Sales Director for the Department Stores, International Accounts, and Niche channel at Puig Iberia, you will be the driving force behind a commercial vision that elevates our Love Brands and connects them with consumers in unique and memorable ways. You will lead the strategy for one of the company’s most influential channels, turning opportunities into sustainable growth and building high‑impact partnerships that reinforce Puig’s position as a benchmark in luxury, innovation, and excellence.


Reporting to the Commercial Director for Iberia, you will shape the channel’s direction: developing its long‑term strategy, strengthening alliances with key retailers, and fostering high‑level collaboration with Sales Intelligence, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Retail, Finance, and Demand Planning to ensure each plan is executed with precision, excellence, and ambition.


Your role blends strategic vision, inspiring leadership, and the ability to create transversal value, guided by the principles that define Puig: sustainable growth, premiumization, creativity, and excellence in everything we do. You will act as a catalyst for transformation, innovation, and relevance for our brands in a dynamic and highly competitive market.

What you'll get to do

1. Commercial Strategy & Category Growth Leadership
• Define the annual commercial strategy for the Department Stores, International Accounts, and Niche channels, aligned with global and regional objectives.
• Identify category growth opportunities and ensure the right prioritization based on market, client, and channel potential.
• Build differentiated commercial narratives and storytelling for each client type, positioning Puig as a preferred strategic partner.
• Translate channel insights into Marketing, Trade, and Retail plans to ensure full alignment with each retailer’s dynamics and needs.
• Oversee the design, approval, and execution of the channel’s Commercial Action Plan.

2. Revenue Growth Management & P&L Ownership
• Own the channel P&L, ensuring profitable growth, margin improvement, and overall business quality.
• Define commercial policies, trading terms, and investment strategies tailored to each customer’s maturity and potential.
• Take key decisions regarding GTN, pricing, promotions, and brand mix/investment frameworks for Department Stores, International Accounts, and Niche.
• Lead the negotiation of national strategic agreements for the channel.
• Oversee forecasts, accuracy, and sales projections together with Sales Intelligence and S&OP, ensuring agility in corrective actions.
• Ensure budget delivery and react swiftly to deviations through actionable and effective plans.

3. Omnichannel Activation Strategy & Retail Excellence
• Define the omnichannel strategy for the channel, ensuring coherence across brick‑and‑mortar, e‑commerce, and digital retailer activations.
• Guarantee flawless execution across assortment, distribution, launches, and visibility in both physical and digital points of sale.
• Approve activation, trade, training, and retail excellence plans tailored to each channel’s specificities.
• Foster seamless 360 collaboration across Commercial, Retail, Trade, Digital, and Training teams to ensure exceptional execution.

4. Customer Management & Joint Business Planning
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with top Department Stores, key international accounts, and Niche partners.
• Lead the negotiation, design, and approval of Joint Business Plans by client and channel.
• Identify category growth opportunities, new launches, portfolio expansion, and joint business development projects.
• Ensure outstanding customer service, including order processes, billing, issue resolution, and operational coordination.
• Represent Puig as the main interlocutor in high‑level forums and meetings with strategic customers.

5. Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, develop, and inspire the commercial team assigned to the channel (KAMs).
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, performance orientation, and growth mindset.
• Identify and develop internal talent, driving training pathways and succession planning.
• Promote continuous transformation within the channel to adapt to market trends, digitalization, and premium consumer expectations.

We'd love to meet you if you have

10+ years of experience in commercial roles, including leadership positions; ideally in beauty, FMCG, or luxury.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing strategic relationships with national retailers.
• Deep knowledge of the Spanish market, consumer trends, and omnichannel strategy.
• Strong experience managing P&L, pricing, trade investment, and complex negotiations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Advanced analytical capabilities and a strong results orientation.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
