Puig is seeking a highly skilled Consumer Data Manager to join our CRM, Consumer and Media Data & Insight Team within the Global Consumer Engagement team, supporting our portfolio of brands across all markets.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that Puig operates with a robust, compliant, and business-driven consumer data ecosystem that fuels CRM excellence, data-driven insights, and orchestrated omnichannel consumer journeys.
This role is the central enabler of Brands’ CRM strategies. By ensuring data quality, governance, and platform excellence, the Consumer Data Manager empowers brands and markets to deliver personalized, orchestrated, and impactful consumer experiences across all touchpoints, from first-party data collection to loyalty and advocacy.
The Consumer Data Manager will partner closely with Global CRM, Brands, Markets, Data Governance, Global Retail, and Tech teams to elevate how consumer data is governed, structured, and activated globally. The successful candidate will combine strong business knowledge, deep understanding of consumer data usage and management, and proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
What you'll get to do
1. Consumer Data Governance Leadership
As a data champion within the overall Global Data Governance strategy, lead the governance of consumer data, ensuring alignment with business definitions, KPIs, and data standards across brands and markets.
- Ensure consistency of consumer data across all tools and platforms, enabling seamless activation across consumer journeys.
- Oversee compliance and documentation within Collibra, ensuring all assets meet governance and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of data quality, ensuring business rules are correctly applied and monitored.
- Take part in the Global Data Governance workstream, ensuring full alignment with global strategy and tools.
- Upskill brands, markets, and relevant teams on consumer data definition and management.
2. Innovation & Product Ownership
- Act as the business owner for key consumer data products and platforms, including:
Consumer C360 Datamart (Golden Record)
Bloomreach (1:many marketing automation: data, new features, new channels)
Preference Center (consent & privacy preferences)
Loyal Guru (loyalty platform)
- Partner closely with the Global Retail team on:
Connect.U (1:1 clienteling: data, new features)
- Responsibilities include:
- Defining business requirements and translating them into clear, actionable specifications for Tech teams.
- Prioritizing product roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery of enhancements and new capabilities, while sharing progress within the organization.
- Evaluating and integrating new features, channels, and data flows to support CRM and consumer engagement strategies.
- Ensuring platforms evolve to support first-party data collection, personalization, loyalty growth, and advocacy.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for Global CRM, brands, and markets regarding consumer data tools, management, and capabilities.
3. Expertise Development, Strategic Projects & Global Collaboration
- Work closely with Brands, Markets, and cross-functional teams (Global CRM, Tech, Insights, Legal) to understand their strategies, roadmaps, and specific needs related to consumer data, ensuring strong collaboration across functions and stakeholders.
- Anticipate brand and market needs, ensuring the consumer data ecosystem evolves proactively to support future CRM, clienteling, and engagement strategies.
Partner with the Data Product Owner of Consumer Dashboards (based in London) to ensure alignment between data sources, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Ensure the consumer data ecosystem supports the generation of actionable insights (dashboards, segmentation, predictive models, automation, analytics).
- Ensure successful project execution through effective planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
- Support change management and drive adoption of global tools, governance frameworks, and data best practices.
4. Compliance, Privacy & Risk Management
- Ensure consumer data usage complies with global and local regulations (GDPR, consent management, retention rules).
- Partner with Legal and Privacy teams to ensure all tools and processes meet compliance standards.
- Guarantee that consent, preferences, and privacy rules are correctly implemented across all platforms and markets.

Experience & Expertise
- 7+ years of experience in consumer or digital data management or CRM activation
- Experience working in a global organization or transversal team
- Strong understanding of consumer data usage in CRM, loyalty, retail, and omnichannel environments
- Solid knowledge of data governance frameworks, data management and data quality management
- SQL proficiency (ability to query, validate, and troubleshoot data)
- Experience with marketing automation, loyalty, or clienteling platforms is a strong plus
- Experience in beauty, luxury, or retail is appreciated
