The Opportunity

His/her mission will be to provide the necessary information to better understand market dynamics in the Beauty Industry (Fragrances, Makeup and Skincare categories).
You will be part of the Strategic Planning & Analytics team, analyzing data, extracting insights, leading report automation efforts, supporting dashboard development, and ensuring monthly and annual reports are up to date. You will also conduct ad-hoc analyses based on departmental needs.

What you'll get to do

Insights and Reporting:
•    Create and maintain global and regional sell-out reports, including executive summaries to support the understanding of market dynamics.
•    Provide monthly rankings and detailed reports to assess Puig’s competitive position (from player level to franchise level).
•    Support the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards.


Data Management:
•    Act as the Global Process Owner, ensuring rigor and the correct application of the methodology used for VMS (Value Market Share) calculation across all regions, markets and brands.
•    Synthesize large datasets, harmonizing data from multiple sources and formats, ensuring comparability and accuracy.
•    Collaborate with external data providers (e.g., NPD, Euromonitor, Statista, Segmenta, Beauté Research, Generation, etc.) and improve automation of data ingestion from these sources.
•    Lead data quality initiatives for database maintenance, simplification of updates, and scope expansion in close collaboration with the IT team.

Others:

•    Participate to the development of the Strategic Foundation which provides a forward-looking perspective of the Beauty Industry, to help identify growth opportunities for the company.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with local markets and cross-functional departments (Master Data, Retail, IT).
•    Support the development of multifunctional presentations with regards to sell-out, VMS and other Market Intelligence contents.
•    Support the Market Intelligence Director with ad-hoc research and analysis.

We'd love to meet you if you have

•    Experience: 3–5 years of experience in data management and business insights generation.
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or a related field.
•    Languages: Fluent in English.
•    Competencies:
o    Project management and strong communication skills.
o    Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from complex datasets.
o    Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
o    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
o    Experience with Power BI as a user although development competences will be considered a plus.
