The Opportunity

Location: Barcelona

The Benefits Manager supports the execution of the global benefits strategy across regions and divisions, contributing to global visibility, coordination and strategic deployment initiatives, while holding operational responsibility for the day-to-day management and local plan design of employee benefits in Spain HQ, ensuring effective administration, cost control, provider coordination and employee support.

What you'll get to do

1.Global Strategy Collaboration & Deployment

 

-    Collaborate effectively in the development of the global benefits roadmap.
-    Support preparation of strategic proposals (cost modelling, benchmarking, impact scenarios).
-    Contribute to the deployment of global initiatives (benefits platform, broker consolidation, pension redesign, mobility framework).
-    Act as project coordination lead during implementation waves when required.
-    Ensure alignment between local practices and global standards.
-    Support preparation of materials for leadership updates and governance forums.

 

2.Global Coordination & Visibility


-    Consolidate benefits data across countries and divisions.
-    Maintain updated inventory of plans, providers and cost structures.
-    Support development of dashboards and reporting tools.
-    Monitor cost evolution, inflation trends and renewal cycles.
-    Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost optimization.

 

3.Spain HQ – Operational Benefits Management


-    Manage the day-to-day administration of all employee benefits in Spain HQ.
-    Coordinate annual renewals with local providers under strategic guidance.
-    Act as main point of contact for HRBPs and employees regarding benefits matters.
-    Manage relationships with local providers (health insurance, risk policies, pension plan, flexible benefits, etc.).
-    Ensure accurate cost tracking and budget monitoring.
-    Oversee operational employee communication related to benefits.
-    Ensure proper implementation of eligibility rules and policy guidelines.


4.International mobility 


-    Define, implement and maintain the global international mobility framework and policies, ensuring alignment with company strategy, cost control and employee experience.
-    Ensure consistent application of mobility policies across regions and entities while allowing for local legal and tax requirements.
-    Provide strategic guidance to HRBPs and business leaders on international assignments and cross-border employment scenarios.
-    Manage relationships with external mobility providers (tax advisors, relocation agencies, immigration specialists and payroll providers).

We'd love to meet you if you have

-    6–9 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits.
-    Experience in HR consultancy, multinational or matrix organizations.
-    Strategic contributor with operational strength.
-    Stakeholder management across geographies.
-    Strong analytical and financial mindset.
-    Experience supporting global transformation initiatives.
-    Solid understanding of Spanish benefits administration.
-    Fluent English required.
