Mission
Puig has successfully deployed a Product Information Management (PIM) solution (Salsify) to centralize, govern, and distribute high-quality product data across all channels. The platform supports faster time-to-market, omnichannel consistency, and collaboration across brands, markets, and retailers.
To support and further evolve this capability, Puig is seeking a PIM Technology Consultant to to take end-to-end technological ownership of the Product Information Management (PIM) platform. This role ensures that the platform is correctly configured, scalable and stable, and continuously evolving to support business needs across brands, markets, and channels. The role acts as the technological lead of the PIM platform working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external.

Tus retos

PIM Platform Configuration & Ownership
•    Own and administrate the platform from a technological perspective. Act as the main liaison between business teams and technology.

•    Translate business requirements into platform configurations and technical solutions
•    Contribute to the configuration and ongoing improvement of the PIM platform, including data models, attributes, workflows, and validation rules.
•    Provide best practices for data governance and product information consistency across brands and channels.
•    Ensure platform performance, reliability, and alignment with Puig’s digital standards.

Integrations & Data Flow Support
•    Coordinate integrations between PIM and connected corporate systems (DAM, ERP, downstream channels).
•    Contribute with Integration teams in the data mappings, validation logic, and issue resolution related to data flows.
•    Collaborate with IT and integration teams on API-based integrations, feeds, and automation.

Vendor BAU & Operational Support
•    Manage the technical relationship with the PIM vendor (Salsify).
•    Participate in Business As Usual (BAU) activities to ensure platform stability and data quality.
•    Act as a support point for functional and technical issues, escalating complex topics when needed.
•    Coordinate platform upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes.
•    Ensure document processes, support procedures, and operational best practices.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement
•    Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve automation.
•    Contribute ideas and input to the PIM roadmap, platform enhancements, and future integrations.
•    Stay informed on new Salsify features and support their adoption when relevant.

Skills & Experience

Experience
•    2–3 years of experience working with a PIM platform, preferably Salsify.
•    Experience supporting data models, workflows, and integrations in a PIM or similar enterprise system.
•    Experience working with BAU support or continuous improvement of digital platforms.

Technical Skills
•    Good understanding of PIM fundamentals: data governance, taxonomy, attributes, enrichment workflows, and syndication.
•    Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data mapping.
•    Familiarity with common data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, feeds).
•    Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data or integration-related issues.

Soft Skills
•    Strong ownership and accountability mindset.
•    Clear communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Proactive and collaborative mindset and solution-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience working with integrations involving AEM and/or SAP.
•    Familiarity with Agile or product-oriented delivery environments.
•    Exposure to DAM, ecommerce, or omnichannel content ecosystems is a plus.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
