Industrialization Technician

Mission

Carry out investment or renovation projects related to the Industrial area and directed by the Engineering Manager, according to the needs specified by the departments responsible for its use, controlling the costs and expenses associated to the investment and pursuing compliance with the execution times established in the associated planning.

Main functions and responsibilities

Planification:

- Designing and overseeing the construction of tooling.
- Participating in and leading the various projects/launches for which he/she has been designated as Industrialization Project Leader.
- Supervising, controlling and verifying subcontracted tasks for projects under he/she responsibility.
- Coordinating the tests/modifications to be carried out on the different lines with all affected areas, such as Filling, GMPs, Quality, Facilities, Environment, OSH (Occupational Safety and Health), Making and/or Maintenance.

Execution:
- Performing tasks to adapt machinery and/or equipment to production needs or modifications resulting from continuous improvement.
- Executing tasks assigned by the Engineering Manager to grant NEW PRODUCT launches.
- Executing tasks assigned by the Engineering Manager in the implementation of NEW EQUIPEMENT and MACHINERY.
- Recording changeover documentation and review it for projects in which he/she participates.
- Executing new machinery and equipment acceptance for projects under him/her responsibility.
- Performing supplier contact tasks.
- Training Maintenance, Filling and/or Production personnel in the operation of new machinery or equipment for the projects assigned to him/her.
- Performing the functions assigned to him/her position, ensuring compliance with standard work procedures and completing the required documentation to monitor the activities specific in the field.
- Performing the functions assigned to him/her position, ensuring compliance with the health and safety standards, using the machinery or tools related to the position properly, as well as the means and protective equipment provided, in accordance with the company's established procedures and current regulations regarding Safety, Environment, Quality and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Participating in Continuous Improvement plans as a Green Belt.

Control:
- Monitoring the status of assigned launches regarding tooling availability and equipment or machinery adaptation.
- Complying with legal regulations regarding machine safety, ReBT, AtEx, in industrial works.
- Granting and controlling organization and proper recording of thecnical documentation.

- Technical equipment, electric, pneumatics, electronics, networks, control systems.
- Total flexibility to change shift.
- Factory 4.0, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing.
- Solidworks.
- Autocad.
- Microsoft office.
- SAP R3.

Education: 
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.

Languages:
- English: High level.
- French knowledge is also valuable
