eCommerce / Sales Specialist


Support the Director of Market Development to ensure execution of commercial strategies through e-commerce and in-store platforms. Drive both platform strategies & execution by strengthening ecommerce (50%) through our key retail channels. Spearhead robust commercial plans and growth initiatives for dotcom sales, online traffic, and new customer acquisition that deliver monthly and annual revenue goals. Analyze instore performance results (50%) to propose recommendations for future actions. The position is a 360 responsibility from start to finish (prepare & deliver)



Puig performance analysis, competitive insights, retailers & trends expertise

  • Establish a strong KPI tracker to clearly identify performance vs target; understanding gaps & address them
  • Execute on-going competitive analysis as well as recommended strategies and tactics to improve our value equation to the customer (key to track retailers emails, retailers social accounts, competitive audits at key periods to draw insights to drive our business)
  • Expand business & landscape knowledge to identify key business drivers
  • Ensure key actions are in place to ensure delivery of targets (sales, timely & quality of the execution of launches & portfolio updates). As well as, leverage tracking to implement corrective actions
  • Build knowledge & expertise to strengthen the funnel (affiliate strategies, Search, Email marketing, etc.)
  • Regular E-commerce Audits


Build strong relationships with the retailer

  • Develop a strong partnership and efficient way of working with the .com teams at all of our retailers
  • Negotiate strong visibility with the retailers with the appropriate imitative and eagerness to drive their business & delivering targets
  • Develop strong Strategy & Planning (ex: promo, allocations, sampling programs, etc.)
  • Ensure quality of execution (ex: product pages, strong visibility, etc.)
  • Test, learn, and implement new opportunities with retailers
  • Put forward strong recommendations of campaigns & activations
  • Prioritize and execute relevant sales support, retailer coop advertising


Maximize efficiency of communication via strong communications, leveraging the power of the cross-functional teams & resourcefulness (internal & external)

  • Powerful written and verbal communications to align multiple parties : Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure that all consumer touch points and messaging are working and measured harmoniously and efficiently
  • Leverage the power of the cross functional teams:
  • Work closely with marketing & media team members to provide merchandising vision to email, search and social campaigns
  • Liaise with internal and external operations team on demand planning & fulfillment by requesting inventory, forecasting and communicating clear dates for launches and promotions aligned to the business needs
  • Partner with the Global ECommerce team to develop merchandising calendar for item image, copy strategy, as well as learn and implement tactics from other countries



  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 4-7 Years of Ecommerce/retailer.com/Digital experience/Trade marketing
  • Digital, Sales/eCommerce, Marketing experience preferred.
  • Track record of building brand awareness with an eye for message, content and stories.
  • Significant experience and a proven track record of executing digital communication strategies and tracking ROI analysis as a result.
  • Experience partnering with retailers
  • Must have a good handle on current trending products and strategies
  • Innovative thinker and interested in first to market.
  • Needs to be a creative problem solver, thrive in fast paced environment, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at once.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
  • Flexible to work in a Hybrid Model during the COVID Pandemic – in office some days following local government guidelines, and working home on other days
  • Travel up to 10%
