The Opportunity
Reporting directly into the Senior HR Manager, Oceania, the role will work closely with the APAC HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The Senior HR Executive will provide full cycle HR support to the Oceania business. Supporting the Senior HR Manager to provide advice to ensure consistency of HR practices and alignment with department and company objectives. The role will manage the implementation HR policies, procedures, and programs and day-to-day HR administration.

Functions and Responsibilities:
HR Operations
- Responsible for updating HR documents including onboarding booklet, presentations and policies.
- Maintaining personnel files
- Review employee working rights (VEVO checks) as required
- Be across the Retail casual employee workforce to ensure business is compliant with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to organise staff events and benefits
- Employee Lifecyle including, pre-boarding, prepare on and off-boarding of employees, liaise with IT on systems setup
Payroll & Reporting
- Collect and analyse HR data and make recommendations for changes
- Provide instructions to payroll providers for the generation of the monthly and weekly payroll register
- Collaborate closely with Finance in the reconciliation of monthly HR related cost in SAP HCM
- Support with the preparation for payroll reports for HQ
Compensation & Benefits
- Support reviewing annual employee benefits and insurance plans
- Maintain, update, and educate employees on HR policies
- Work with HQ and APAC on the enhancement of office facility and compliance
- Support the Senior HR Manager on annual budgeting, accruals and audit requirements
People Management
- Advise and support managers in ER related issues i.e., issuance of probationary, confirmation and performance improvement.
- Initiate annual goal setting process (MBO) to managers as well as annual company-wide performance appraisal
- Coordinate annual salary review process
DEIB
- Lead the business culture and engage with staff in HO as well as Retail team
- Ensure the Puig Oceania subsidiary supports diversity and equality in all aspects of HR
- Cultivate an inclusive working environment by leading key people initiatives centered around belonging.
- Manage the awareness and compliance of training across all staff such as mandatory Puig Ethical Code.

Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in generalist HR position, with a background in retail industry beauty and cosmetics highly desirable.
- Education: Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management, and/or any related Professional Certification in Human Resources
- Languages: English
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Weekly Payroll knowledge is highly preferred
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Strong in reporting and analysing skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SAP system
- Efficient, willingness to be hands-on, deadline-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills, and cross culture communication
- Problem-solving skills
