REPORTING:

Direct report to the General Manager Benelux

 

MISSIONS :

 

Lead the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process.

•Conduct monthly Demand Consensus meeting with Commercial Manager, Key Account manager and Customer Development in order to review the promotional plan and gather intellignece data to forecast at SKU level

•Prepare and present S&OP results in the monthly meeting sponsored by the General Manager.

•Calculate local prices for basic, promo and launches considering commercial conditions

•Review KPI’s including forecast accuracy & bias results

•Reconcile the forecast valuation with the budget and explain the differences.

 

Work closely with Local and Global teams.

•Build and maintain relationships with Local teams and relevant Global departments to allow clear flow of information.

•Gain a strong understanding of retailer strategies by working closely with KAMs.

•Follow the evolution of brands and plans in the short and long term with Marketing.

•Monitor retailer sell through, promotional mix and key priorities with Customer Development.

•Work with Finance to build the phased Net Revenue Budget by product line and to align understanding. 

Provide Global Demand Planners with local market information effecting product line forecasts, explaining changes in the forecast, on a monthly basis.

•Liaise with Global Supply Planning team regarding specific actions and how to meet local requirements.

•Work with other Local Demand Planners to build best practices. 

 

Build and maintain relationships with retailer Supply Chain teams.

•Work with KAMs and key retailers (if possible) to build a joint forecast at peak trading periods

•Review service levels and forecast accuracy based on joint plans.

•Support Customer Service team with stock availability and Supply Planning logistics.   

•Understand retailers strategic inventory plans and sales expectations.

 

Launch and Promotional Planning & Execution             

•Definition of promotional/launches plan with sales and marketing teams

•Plan quantities for launches & promo (based on analysis of launch patterns and cycles, commercial needs, …)

•React to changes in sell in based on level of success and amend forecast accordingly.

•Analyse cannibalisation and adjust product line forecast accordingly

•Review of success of launches and promotional actions with sales and marketing teams

•Track leftover promotional stock and work with the sales and marketing team to exit

•Ensure the correct phasing of launches, promos & LEs

•Definition Flexibility & Agility needs according to unpredictable events or customer plans

•Coordination & alignement for product, channel & customer. Campaings definitión & split x KAM and Customer (EDI) - (Quotes)

•Adjustment of needs: priorization, product advancement, trespassing other areas/customer/markets & modifications. Offer & alining with complementary proposal                                                                      

REQUIREMENTS:

- You have a Master's degree from a business school/engineering school and have 3 to 5 years of experience in S&OP and/or sales forecasting.

- You are analysis and strategy oriented.

- Rigorous and organized, you are proactive and have the ability to find solutions.

- You have good communication and interpersonal skills.

- You have solid skills on Excel and you are fluent in Dutch, French and English. Spanish is a plus.
