INTERNATIONAL PRODUCT MANAGER – PARFUMS JEAN PAUL GAULTIER (CDI)

ROLE DEFINITION

Location: Paris (Champs-Elysées)

Context:
We have an outstanding opportunity in our Parisian Headquarter for one of our major Brands:

JEAN PAUL GAULTIER

We are looking for a motivated, creative, colorful and original international product manager in order to work for our luxury products.

Mission:
With the Group Product Manager, develop and implement the marketing strategy and manage the development of his/her line of products, ensure perspectives of growth and profitability to his portfolio.

Manage and ensure the development of the franchise & all of its assets.


Responsibilities/Key Tasks:

Planning

  • laborate long-, mid- and short-term strategies in line with the Brand strategy and DNA for the existing and upcoming assets of the franchise to secure the future of the brand and reach quantitative and qualitative objectives
  • Identify and answer the market and specific local needs

 

Execute

  • Develop the appropriate tools to implement correctly the strategy on our markets
  • Execute the annual Marketing plan in line with the strategy (product positioning)
  • Coordinate team collaboration with the internal departments of merchandising, communication, studio, technical services, etc.
  • Coordinate launch operations with Communication (on and off line) and Marketing Managers across markets
  • Collaborate with the production departments to ensure the industrial feasibility of the new products and follow their production
  • Optimize the marketing mix (product, positioning, pricing, etc.)
  • Present the marketing plan to the Brand top management and different markets
  • Identify creative resources and collaborate with external agencies, perfumers, fashion and internal studio

 

Control

  • Control the creation of the new products and developments
  • Manage the global budget of its line following the profitability guidelines set by the group
  • Drive competitors/trends benchmark overviews and ad hoc market researches

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Experience:
A first experience in Product Management in the Cosmetics, Make-up or Perfumery Industry. A digital mindset and innovative way of thinking is appreciated!

Education:
University Degree or Master in Business School, Specialization in Marketing or Luxury.

Languages:
French & English Mandatory
Spanish would be a plus

Skills :

  • Knowledge of global marketing including Medias, visual Merchandising, PR, Training
  • Digital mindset, showing interest in the new Com Channels
  • Sensitivity to luxury, perfumes and cosmetics industry
  • Creative profile
  • Strong team spirit and project management skills
