International Operational Marketing Manager - Jean Paul Gaultier HF

INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONAL MARKETING MANAGER - JEAN PAUL GAULTIER (H/F)

 

Develop and implement the marketing strategy of Jean Paul Gaultier Perfumes around the world, ensure flawless communication bradn & markets, and promote perspectives of growth for the brand in markets.

Manage and ensure the development of the team (2 operational marketing executives).

 

Responsibilities/Key tasks:

 

1. Identify main challenges & business development opportunities through brand & markets diagnosis worldwide, to implement action plans and continuously build the brand

•           Provide Net Revenues forecast, and P&L projections based on long-term scenarios to help building brand global 3Y Plan

•           Gather specific market analysis and propose expansion strategy to define milestones of the future JPG business

•           Guide international marketing plan key decisions by conducting analysis on business issues to provide feedback & challenge the marketing plan concerning unsatisfied Markets’ needs, potential “gaps” between Marketing Plan and NR objectives, additional image & brand building opportunities around the world

•           Ensure perfect knowledge of brand performance worldwide following net revenues & sell-out performance for key markets on a monthly basis

•           Produce ad-hoc reporting on business ad launch performance or any strategic brand related topic, and contribute actively to top management continuous brand presentation

 

2. Together with her/his team, provide markets worldwide with strategic and operational support to develop local business plan ensuring coordination between their local strategy and the brand global strategy

• Challenge annual local marketing, media & trade plans and budget (ATL & BTL) allocation. Once plans are validated, ensure the Intl Operational marketing team provides support to local teams in the elaboration & implementation of the local promotional plans & launch strategies

• Ensure cross market visibility and cross-region fertilization by sharing information and best practices, and organizing several brand & markets meeting along the year

• Responsible for identifying market needs and opportunities to boost the brand by ensuring a very good knowledge of each market and brand performance there

• Ensure constant and clear communications to markets about brand related topics: strategic & marketing plans updates, launch plan info, products updates, and flawless feed-backs to internal contact in the Intl brand team.

• Coordinate all deliverables related to marketing plans (Brand book and guidelines) and launch plans (Launch books, guidelines, product, promotions, POS animations, PR, mock-ups, lab samples etc…)

• Work together with CNP to ensure flawless CPS process and ensure proper analysis of new project forecast to challenge consolidated region figures versus brand expectations. Back & Forth with market development and/or markets

• Work together with Brand Demand Planner to follow the operations main KPIs on the brand and actively manage the brand portfolio (discontinuation process, specific product lines etc)

 

3. Management

• Manage directly 2 international operational marketing executives: fix their objectives and guide them in the way to success to ensure their continuous and positive development in the brand team

• Organize the team workflow and priorities in alignment with her/his direct management: consolidate all the briefs for the whole team, manage the planning, ensure deadlines

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in operational or trade marketing, in international or local positions, ideally acquired in the beauty industry.

 

Education:

Master Degree, major in Marketing ideal

 

Languages:

French and English fluent, Spanish would be a plus.

 

 Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong leadership

Ability to manage operational project keeping a very strategic and logn-term vision

Result-oriented, self-starter personality with an interest to propose and test new ideas

Very curious, polyvalent and autonomous

Strong analytical and project management skills;

Flexible and reactive, good management of stress

Olfactive, Fashion and/or Design sensibility
