The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst, temporary, to join our Travel Retail Europe team. This role is ideal for a early-career professional eager to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced international environment.
You will support strategic decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and insights generation across commercial, marketing, and business development initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help drive the success of our brands in airports and travel retail channels across Europe.
What you'll get to do
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing sell-in and sell-out data, rankings, and market share.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date performance dashboards and reports to support internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Field teams).
- Contribute to the omnichannel data strategy by helping improve data quality and accessibility.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis for the Niche segment in Europe, in collaboration with the Global Travel Retail team
- Monitor and update performance tracking, including maintenance of the 2025 tracker and support in building the 2026 tracker to incorporate new doors
- Support the Finance team in budget planning, aligned with our strategy
2. Strategic Planning & Portfolio Support
- Contribute to the brand and market analysis to assess the impact of launches and identify risks and opportunities.
- Help refresh brand and market priorities annually, ensuring alignment with group growth strategies.
- Participate in the budget preparation process by consolidating data and preparing supporting documents.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Education teams to ensure consistent data usage and alignment on business priorities.
- Support internal processes to improve A&P allocation and drive assortment productivity.
- Work closely with finance on the budget exercise
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, retail, or FMCG sectors (internships included).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; advanced Excel required, Power BI a plus.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for clear and impactful storytelling.
- Interest in the beauty and luxury industry and understanding of travel retail dynamics is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a multicultural, matrixed organization.
- Proactive, curious, and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent command of English, other languages is an asset
