Director Sales Administration

Overview:

This position oversees Sales Administration Team and works collaboratively with the wider Sales organization and Operations Team to execute on strategy and to address risk/issues early on. This person is in charge of facilitating a seamless flow of information between field and internal personnel for concise communication and expedited responses. The Director play a critical role in seasonal planning discussions with sales leadership.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Seasonal planning with sales management and execution of details for field support, information, and in-store activities:
    1. By brand, by chain by door planning for retail sales, freelance, budgets and in-store support in collaboration with field and internal teams
    2. Coop advertising and budget management oversight
    3. Promotions management via Sales platforms
  2. Allocation and distribution for retail and collateral product launches and promotions, in conjunction with the Key Account Management, Marketing and Sales Admin team
  3. Development and implementation of sales reporting and monitoring tools through Sales Analyst
  4. Oversight of field administration, including alignment management, new/closed door logistics
  5. Drive organized and concise field communications for streamlined information flow

 

Qualifications:

·         Prior experience in Sales Administration/Sales Promotion or related field required (8-10 years minimum)

·         College degree required

·         Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and planning skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of management

·         Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail

·         Self-motivated and resourceful, with excellent follow-thru skills

·         Ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects

·         Strong leadership and presentation skills

·         Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. AS400 and/or SalesForce.com experience a plus
