Senior Manager, Niche Portfolio


Mission: Lead the growth of our Niche portfolio for brands including, Christian Louboutin Beaute, Penhaligons, Eric Buterbaugh Los Angeles, and more. Goal is to develop strong strategic recommendations for the US market and drive the implementation of impactful executions, while building and maintaining a successful partnership with the Global Team HQ in Europe.


Responsibilities/Key Tasks:

  • Lead strategic recommendations
  • Serve as the champion of brand image and customer experience in the US.
  • Conduct brand and market analysis, and recommend strategic decisions based on insights
  • Propose new product and promotional ideas for our market
  • Implement powerful 360 executions in order to engage consumers, drive sales, and achieve objectives for market share, net revenues, and profitability
  • The scope includes: Launch calendar, Media plan implementation in collaboration with media team, Promotional plan & Animation/event plan in collaboration with Retail team, Public relations plan implementation, in collaboration with PR team
  • Manage agency partners and programs and creative services providers
  • Present seasonal programs to retail partners
  • It is key to collaborate with internal and HQ teams to ensure business success:
  • Global teams on product development, brand content, and media programs’ execution
  • Sales team on marketing plans by retailer
  • Retail team on “retailtainment” and events by brand
  • Education team on training plans and materials
  • Demand Planning/Operations team on launch tracking and delivery
  • Finance team on budget planning and reporting
  • Actively manage the brands P&L for each brand within his/her responsibility, including:
  • Annual budget of all above-the-line and below-the-line activities,
  • Actively monitor and manage investments in POS materials and animations (analysing ROI/profitability per action and proposing improvements for future)
  • Forecast seasonal POS materials, new launches, and animation materials
  • Monitor product stock levels, playing an active role in controlling inventory levels and forecasts

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field required
  • 7-10 years of experience in beauty marketing or similar role
  • Attention to detail accompanied by a strong understanding of the importance to protect the brands image, business strategies and plans
  • Ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Suite
  • Versatile and flexible; embraces change and is consistently able to develop and compliant to the needs of the business
  • Driven to learn and grow, grasp new concepts quickly, prioritizes efficiently and is organized
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; follows professional presentation
  • Strong follow up, follow through and attention to detail needed, shows initiative, ability to meet deadlines
  • Team player, “no task is too big or too small” attitude, committed, positive, and reliable
  • Thrives off a busy environment and is able to balance numerous projects and tasks, and has the ability to keep up with changing priorities
